I recently got a buddy key from the other poster below, and ive been playing 3 days now as Sarunous, on syntax server, and so far absolutely nothing bad that was told about this game is true....Yes it is not very populated but its the kind of game where you don't wanna see a ton of people around because it wouldn't make sense. The gameplay (aside from a few weird animation in combat) is very enjoyable. The last update was in the middle of May last month so you can be sure its not dead or forgotten. I joined a faction as well (factions are guilds in matrix) and when you have a nice community to play with it is a great game. If your a matrix fan, you'll deffinatly have a great time with this game!
All opinions are welcome, even flaming is welcome, this is just my positive feedback with my experience in this game.

I'm happy to hear your enjoying the game! There is more to it after you get into things and from what we have been shown there is only more new things to come!
You picked a great server to start on, there are a bunch of great people to help you and from the sounds of it you know what I'm talking about! If you are into role playing you shouldn't have any issues finding people on that server to role play with hehe
This game is honestly one of those games you have to try just to see for yourself... your either gonna hate it or love it!

Yeah I been looking to give this game a try as well but I can't get my hands on a trial.

I gave mxo a try last year, never got far beyond 10 but I enjoyed the game very much. Felt unique, i pretty much fell in love with my crew buddies.
Sadly its not somthing I can stick with, due to my prefrences in gaming. MxO is not a bad game at all though, if anything its severley under rated.
