The Sweepstake is only open to residents of America and Canada, which means myself and other europeans cant enter

I find it strange that anarchy online is a european made mmo but wont allow europeans in on this sweepstake

this contest is operated by gamerigs.com and has no participation from funcom.

sending a whole pc overseas is expensive

You can't sell anything with the Anarchy Online theme on it without Funcoms' participation. You also cannot give away a lifetime Anarchy Online subscription, leet pet, and luxury apartment without Funcoms' participation.

How dare they keep the title as 'GLOBAL SWEEPSTAKES' if only USA and Canada is allowed to participate?

    Seriously how stupid is this?

and i'm dissapointed that MMORPG.com is even allowing this nonsense to be posted on their site.

Change the name to contest for US and Canada only NOW!

Well your wrong about that as I have won plenty of things like razer products, etc from competitions thats were truly 'GLOBAL'

I don't think they intend you to read it as global sweepstakes, but as global supremacy

I'd have really like to have entered for this, but unfortunately i'm in England .  It states in the terms and conditions "NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. This Sweepstakes is applicable and open to legal residents of the 50 United States District of Columbia and Canada, excluding Quebec who are thirteen (13) years of age or older).

Ah well.. maybe they'll do the comp for UK and the rest of the world some other time?

Custom Anarchy Online Gaming PC System from GameRigs, including:

    • GameRigs Aluminum ATX Case with custom artwork
    • Intel Core™ 2 processor
    • NVIDIA GeForce® graphics card
    • Crucial Ballistix™ memory
    • Killer™ NIC M1
    • NEC Accusync 24" LCD Display
    • Razer Lycosa™ gaming keyboard
    • Razer DeathAdder™ gaming mouse
    • GameRigs "Anarchy Online" BattleMat™
    • Lifetime account of Anarchy Online with all expansions
    • Jobe Deluxe Apartment
    • Leet Pet

That website has so many "red flags" that there's no way they would be getting my information for the contest, despite Funcom being involved in the contest. From the information provided you get some AO items & a "gaming system". Ok. That sounds, decent.... until you see what that contains. A case, monitor, NIC, keyboard, mouse, mousepad, Unknown spec CPU, unknown spec GPU, unknown spec RAM, no hard drive info, no optical drive info, no motherboard info, no audio card info, no PSU info.  If you wanted to actually BUY something from them, you can't get prices on anything but 3 overpriced systems, despite the other items they supposedly "sell" & there is no clear way to even buy those.

My favorite quote involving that company has to be from the following thread:

Adacta: "mine is better anyway :P"

Better than what? We have no idea what the grand prize system actually contains. lol

If you can show me a link on the game-rigs.com website where I can actually get prices on each of the items they sell so I can buy something from them, I will be happy to rescind my previous comments. I wanted to price out a computer & buy a mousepad from them when I first went to their website, but since it could not be found, I became very skeptical.

P.S.: Pricing/purchasing via email does not count for a legitimate online storefront since about 1999.
