Cabal on line: what is this ???

VicksburgVicksburg Member Posts: 181

In visiting Xfire I just saw Cabal on line as being a top ten PC game being played

I watched a few videos....

Can you imagine people playing this ??? Even if its free to play.

Could anyone give me some feedback on the game because it looks like some other garbage I once installed on my HD (it was called Dekaron).

Anyone with more info?

For a f2p game I thought it was pretty fun, combat animations kept me entertained, and theirs plenty of quests to do it seems like. Of course being a f2p game, it has a grind to it and such.

Just try it out for yourself if your even interested

Yeah, the game is unfortunatly very boring,  you look like everyone else, there is absolutly no individualality in the game what-so-ever. Sure the graphics are pretty good, but after playing for about a month, you get the feeling of not having accomplished anything major. The only redeming feature of the game is perhaps the music. All in all it's not a good game for hardcore mmo players, nor is it a good game for casual players.

its actually very fun IF and only IF you don't take it too seriously. for me it wasn't anything to replace any main MMO i played but it was fun to take breaks from what ever game i was playing at the time. didn't seem to be much to it at all really but the combo system was ALOT of fun. would get the usual quests to go kill x amount of y mobs and found myself killing the same mobs for hours just because it was fun, would have the quest completed within like 10 kills but just kept goin, practicing my combos and the timing and what not. the lvling when i played was actually very fast for an asian mmo hit 40 in like a week or 2 i think. combos aren't your tipical combos like on AoC or other game on Cabal you get this little bar that reminds me of on a football console game to kick a football. the arrow moves back and forth and you have to click the next attack in the right spot to get the combo off and the more combos you link the faster it goes. and the closer you get to "perfect" where you need it the more dmg the hit does, pretty unique and fun

but like i said its fun if you only go on goof off and kill stuff now and then but i don't think i could play it everyday for hours and hours like eq2,Aoc,WoW ect.

If I remember right, there are total 10 skill levels. It is faster for first 3 levels, however, it may take 1 months, after that each level needs longer time, maybe 3-4 weeks to gain one skill, only if you know how to exploit. Otherwise, it may take you 6 weeks. When you hit high level, let's say level 90, if you want to have proper skills to play which means 1 Trans, it may take you 8 months. If you want both to the maximum, it is Dual Trans level, just add double time on top of 8 months.

It definitely does not take that long to get Transcender or Dual Trans. Took me about 1 1/2 months to reach it, and I'm a slow leveler.

Its a really fun game, where you level quickly with lots of quests, untill level 95ish.  The game completely changes into an asian grind fest.  Drops become rare and your forced to grind on the lower levelmaps to accumulate the money to grind the higher level maps.  A complete lack of variety in any armor weapons or character customization makes this game unbearibly boring. after lv95 your days of aoeing large groups of mobs turns into having to party to take down a sinlge mob.

as far as your skill levels go: if you casually play you will be skill gimped, you get stat bonuses with every level, both in magic and sword.  and if you lv 95 your not maxxed on both you will have little chance to pvp or rvr with any success.  it takes quite a while to level up both skills, and if you use the cash shop you can over night train on skill dummies by jamming a quarter in your keyboard (yawn) every night will get you about 10 skill points (more if you have less than 2/3 a skill level) that being said, after a full month of premium i was unable to obtain max skill level in anything, and i skill grinded too.
