Well, the preorder page (http://warhammeronline.com/preorder/) now says August 6th instead of 5th, and it originaly said 4th... I wonder how long they'll just keep changing it instead of actually sticking to it, oh well, as long as the game is good when it comes out.

seriously though , i have a feeling they will make an announcement that is totally un expected before they open up the pre order thing . if i am right then don't expect to hear any thing until late next week .

For the short 2 weeks I played EQ2 I remember that one day the server went down, they said it would be up in 30 minutes, then after it was time they added another 30, then another 30 etc. etc. until eventually it last 10 hours before the server went up.
If their not sure that they can do it a certain day then they shouldn't raise peoples hope or otherwide they'll get burned
I actually wouldn't mind if Open Beta didn't start for us who pre-ordered CE or SE until the 12-14th.
I've been taking summer classes all summer and plan on going home this weekend, haven't seen my family since Feb.
I'm also moving into my new apartment somewhere between the 12th and 14th so I'll be without internet to play...so I'm going to be selfish and hope beta isn't for another 6-8 days

don't go hanging your hopes on my last comment because ( even though i can't say what i think the change may be ) Mythic has not even hinted they will do it . i probably shouldn't have said what i did.
any way , if im right there will be a lot of happy WAR fanboi within next week or 2 . if im wrong , well no major game changes will be announced ... i hope im right though.

Folks,
A quick update:
1) NDA lift is indeed coming very soon but not this week. We've still got a few things to knock off the "Must do before lift" list before I lift the NDA. But it is going to be sooner, rather than later. Still plenty of time to go before launch.
2) Lots of news coming this week (hopefully). It should be tomorrow but when you are part of a big corporation and have lots of partners, sometimes things can take a little longer than you would like. I have no doubt though that the news will be worth the wait.
So, I think the rest of the week is going to be a very good and very interesting one for WAR fans.

All I KNOW that's supposed to be coming "soon" is an announcement regarding some "good news" for CE preorders. When Mark says "tomorrow", I'm thinking more like Friday. :>

oh ya i forgot about that . i don't follow WAR outside of beta to much so i miss thing's like that .
anyway , false alarm by me , sorry every one !!!
still i really hope it's more then just the extra stuff the CE pre orders get . i am kinda hopeing / expecting a very big change soon .
