This was the feature I wanted to see most of all. If you think about it though the coding to make it happen is probably beyond the developers levels of expertise.
I dont get it...they hyped it sooooo much to just completely drop it ?
They hyped up everything. What didn't get dropped doesn't work or sucks.
Yup and IMO this is the reason why so many people hate the game. Funcom hyped the game right up until release, and only after release did we find out that things like DX10 aren't in the game yet. If anyone has been wondering why there is so much hate for AoC, I would guess that this is the main reason why.
ye, the drinking cape of the collector edition became in the end just a space filler of the limited inventory
What frustrates me most is the fact, that after all the screw ups, no matter what funcom is doing now to fix it, the population will decline even more with the soon to be released WAR, Lich King, and other high named offline games.
Yep, even if somehow they magically fix the game no one will be playing it. So essentially all you are going to have is a single-player RPG, which it basically is now anyway.
Here is my problem with all of this: The IP is so freaking cool! How could they, after 5 years of development, offer such an unfinished product? AoC is set in one of the most unique backdrops for a MMO and Funcom really just dropped the ball during development.

that's what I don't get. 5 years developement, and less than a year of beta. Is just not a realistic ratio. Most MMOs suffer this problem

Same thing that happened to the rest of the games content.

FUNCOM - putting the FUN in disFUNctional !

Yeah I was looking forward to the brawls. Very disappointing they aren't even in the game. It's actually ridiculous and on a lot of levels FRAUD.
Tecmo Bowl.

Says it right on my box...
Enhanced for: DircetX 10, multi-core
Tecmo Bowl.
(officially)
Drunken brawling was removed and Ambrosia was changed to allow you to enter drunkeness so that you can do "drunken Emotes"
(unofficially)
ur first hint was when FunCom said "promise"
They haven't dropped it they just can't get it to work like like most other features of the game.
But hey its still early beta right?
Ok not fair..its my turn of saying something bad about failcom...
"man..how can failcom and age of crap suck so mutch?, they just cant do anything right...oh ok they can..they are damn good liers and overhypers..."
