I played the game for about 30 minutes, the character creation on the humans seemed a bit limited, the Graphics looked bad (ive heard the retail graphics will be better.), and the combat was very slow, I was a witch hunter BTW.
Then I unistalled the game, was I a bit rash in doing this?
Like honestly I feel bad now, because I really should be giving every MMO out there a chance. I watched my freind play it, and he did some killing and public quests, and it didnt look as bad. Should I give it another chance?

I don't think 30 min could do any mmo justice but if there was something you just couldn't get over being there or w/e and its always going to be there, then don't bother.

Also, what game are you playing that you are comparing this to? I am very curious about that...

You've seen about 0.0001% of the game in those 30mins maybe less. ^^
You probably tried 1 class, and chances are high it just wasn't the class for you.
Sometimes it takes a while before you find the class that suits you best!
And if you haven't played any Public Quest then you really mist out a lot. =/
You probably haven't played any scenarios nor any other RvR stuff.
I'd say give it another chance and a bit more time!
And yes about the graphics, they will most likely be 2x better at launch.

Well look at tabula Rasa, i mean the gameplay never changed through out the whole game, I kow because i played through till 40.
The game looks Different later on, from the little i have seen my friend play, im really just wondering if it breaks the mold after the first few levels, unlike a game like tabula rasa, where everything is the same the whole way through.

While I agree that WAR is only "decent" and nowhere near what people hype it to be, I really want something to do. So can I have your beta now? ....lol

mate i wouldnt bother to ask,if you just check jive's past posts you will see he enjoy's bitching about every game that isnt the 1 he plays,I would even wager he never had WAR on is hard-drive and just thought this would be a way in to troll the forum.

Theres no cool little tricks to do, or "OMG" moments like in other games. The Game world in my opinion looks wonderful the art is alot better than WoW and LOTRO, but to me the combat is what takes away all the fun.
Sorry im just being honest, I think the game is alright but Its no different than AOC was to me. Only good thing is I got to actually play WAR before buying it. I respect Mythic for their practices.

Good question but can you link the original post, that's always best.
But troll or not, there is a good point to this. Can you judge a game in 30 mins? I think it depends on the reason for your judgement.
Was the game engine itself was annoying or you didn't find it intuitive - hard to move or fighting just was a pain (ala Hellgate London or Tabula Rasa)?
Was is because you just hated the art style?
Or was the engine okay but you didn't find anything really interesting at the start?
The first two reasons above probably mean WAR isn't for you. But if the game engine and the art don't bother you then you ought to try playing a bit longer.
Try a Public Quest if you want to see the really interesting stuff Mythic has done with PvE. Try a Scenario and open-world RvR to get a taste of those. The amazing thing about RvR is that it's different every time.
Not everyone will like WAR and that's fine. But if you find a game engine is playable, then I think it takes longer than 30 mins to get a feel what it is really like.

I was in beta for last month before it ended , i played it for 30 minutes and unistalled it and let my friend have the key, and watched him play it at his house and fiddled with it. He never got over level 10 until one day he was around 16 and I actually watched him play. Posting screen of my beta invite and two pictures of me playing in game after this post.

Heh I did too for 2 years...then realized they recycle the same models/skins/ideas over and over for every bit of new content released..
With a company as sucessful as Bliz they sure know how to not be innovative..I would bet my life that they end up stealing WAR's ideas like they did in the past. WAR in the long run is going to kill this game. Yes, some old players will stick with WoW but new players WILL NOT choose WoW over WAR. It is like someone saying "hey man..you want a free 2000 mustang or a 2009?
The game is old and boring and just like crack, some people I suppose will always be hooked. Quite funny to even compare WAr and WoW in the way you did..which was indirctly saying WAR wasn't good enough for you to play for more than 30 min..

Not meaning to bash you or anything i'm just curious what you look for in a game content wise. I had a more overwhealmed feeling just from mixing standard WoW style quests with PQs and being qued up for scenarios all the while. There just seemed so much there that you could fluidly mesh in and out of besides "What thing do I wanna focus on tonight" kinda feel. Personally I really enjoyed it but to each his own. I was just curious how you found it boring so I can give good unbiased feedback to my friends and guildies.
I like the combat in WAR...
insane fast combat when your wearing 200+ pounds of armor and wielding a huge weapon/shield is just stupid and fights that last 5 seconds are just as lame. just my opinion tho...
