Darkfall fanboys do not realize how much grind there will be in the game. Sure you could level up nice and fast but how many man-months do you think it will take to build a boat much less a town that covers the entire crafting tree(including boat requirements).
The most rabid of Darkfall fanboys will end up leaving the game and the community will become pretty tame but pretty paranoid as well because their holdings can disappear.

Class levels are gone. Most (if not all) Sandbox games still contain Skill Levels though. Remember UO? You started out 1 worked the skill hit 2, then after some time you eventually GM'd it. Even the Elder Scroll series is like this to an extent, and it's considered sandbox-ish. Not saying I agree with Pauls post. Just saying that being Sandbox really doesn't remove levels or grinding. *Note this is not an argument against Darkfall* At least I believe that is the question you were asking. I might have mis-understood the point you were/are trying to make.

There are no classes. There is no auto attack. The pvp looks sub par? Are you high?
There isn't another game on the market with this level of graphics that has first person shooter controls in an mmorpg world. Additionally, full loot, crafting, player made cities, resource points.

I wish them luck, this is a pretty anticipated game and by the looks of it people are more or less either enjoying the possiblity of launch or are just being jackarses about it for some reason. Yeah its been in developement for a long time but at no point did they ever offer a beta or a launch timeframe.

No seriously I say it again but read about the game before talking about things you don't know about. Go there : darkfallonline.com... and read the game features. You will see that the combat is FPS style AND that there are no classes.

One of Darkfall's main features is real-time combat. If they were to switch to a conventional MMORPG combat system without telling anyone they may as well have shot themselves in the foot. So, to address your statement, watch the video.

Battle Animation: Very Good (blood only on crits please, a peeve)
Mount Animation: Very Good (mounted fighting, you don't see that in Warhammer etc.)

DDO and Tabula Rasa use a similar system so its not that big of a deal tbh. I think this is just truer to FPS.

Not trying to be a jerk but you really should check out the offical page, it answers all of that. I read it before I posted this today. I have not been following DF at all. (in fact I have been making fun of and antagonizing DF fanbois for years)
I liked Darkfall back when it was called Dawn, and you had the promise of launching fetuses from catapults after being sexually assaulted by another character and having to carry the baby to term.
I kid, I kid. Seriously though it must be nice for the rabid fanboys/gals to finally, after 7 years, to at least see the words "beta registration". Best of luck on the game. Oh and I sure hope Adventurine does you "fans in waiting" a bit more justice than that video, because that one was just horrible. It looks like a 4-5 year old game already. The features and open skills list is fantastic, if it all makes it in there.

The graphics are right no par with most games. Only games like AoC, Vanguard, and a few others I have played clearly have better graphics.

So WTF are you graphics whiners complaining about? You've still got WoW. If this game only has 75% of the features Adventurine has talked about, it's going to be a real winner for a lot of us here. And the rest of you can still go play Hello Kitty or whatever other dumbed down, linear grindfest gets your rocks off.
There's still a lot Darkfall has left to prove to me (Darkfall & Light II?), but I wish you mutts would get a grip. This is good news, not bad. Be happy.
Note: I also don't like seeing cannons/guns/gunpowder in fantasy settings. But that's another peeve of mine. And I'd be willing to overlook it if the game was good.

I have read it the first time... Still, tell me where in the video it somewhat tells people that is how it looks like, or, shows that even with no class, it has more then 2 kinds of attacks. I mean, if it is skill system, surely is has several kinds of attacking the fellow player, no?
Do i have to type it a 3rd time? It has nothing to do with what the game is or not. It's about the video, and how much it sucks. The video. Maybe not hte game. The video.

DDO and Tabula Rasa use a similar system so its not that big of a deal tbh. I think this is just truer to FPS.
I don't know what you mean by "2 kinds of attacks". Thats what any MMO has, melee and ranged. There are "specials" and different "spells". Not trying to be a jerk but you really should check out the offical page, it answers all of that. I read it before I posted this today. I have not been following DF at all. I liked Darkfall back when it was called Dawn, and you had the promise of launching fetuses from catapults after being sexually assaulted by another character and having to carry the baby to term.
But they sure did make great golf clubs.

I kid, I kid. Seriously though it must be nice for the rabid fanboys/gals to finally, after 7 years, to at least see the words "beta registration". Best of luck on the game. Oh and I sure hope Adventurine does you "fans in waiting" a bit more justice than that video, because that one was just horrible. It looks like a 4-5 year old game already. The features and open skills list is fantastic, if it all makes it in there.
Good luck guys and don't get your expectations up too high...well, higher than it has been already. If the last few years of MMO releases have shown us anything is that games can crash and burn rather quickly.

it really didnt look that great, only way im gonna buy it if it can sustain a reasonable sub count for a month or 2.
