Bad news is it doesnt work, just sits there with its little spinning wheel thing and does nothing, doesnt even time out!

got past the wheel, getting the error 1226 or summin. Good work GOA, you gotta laugh when they set up a new system to bypass the broken one.... And it still don't work!
Lol, and i just thought, you have to wait for an email after you validate anyways....

i just got that Activated screen too, however Authentication in the patcher fails, like GOA
Mine just went through! Just keep trying.
You have to wait for verification of the activation by email, re read the latest new item on the homepage. Dunno how long that will take then, 24 -48 hours maybe
my key is activated too now, after hitting validate for a gazzilion times... too bad im still stuck at work :-) have to see tonight if I can update and play the client

I just validated my key, but when i put the account i put the key on in patcher, authentication failure. :S
Mine too, third try, got a misleading 'Key Activted' message.
Account still unaccessible though from the client. Authentification failed. Guess I have to wait until they manually activate my account now. What a joke, US beta client downloading...

Yeah u right ...
From the sounds of things, I think they have split it into two processes, the first one takes the data you submitted validates it / checks the key etc and then dumps it into a que, then the second process slowly works through the que updating the account database at a speed it can handle, my guess is the quicker you got your key into the list the quicker you will recieve authentification and be able to patch etc.

hehe i know what is come down, the goal for GOA was to give us acces to validation page not to the actual game server, so maybe 2'morra we will gain it!
