I got my beta key and tried to download from Fileplanet. It got to 90% and then my download died somehow and it put me in quque. I was screwed after that. I had 2300ish people ahead of me after I waited probably half a day or more just to start my download. So, after being pretty pissed at that I searched for other means of downloading the beta files. Well, every download Ive found is running like crap. I have no idea why its downloading so freaking slow. Are there any places one could direct me to find a decent download of the game for open beta? At the rate this is going I might get to play a few days before the damn thing goes Live.

Finding a store with a preorder disc still in stock is your best bet - you can always cancel your preorder if you don't like the beta.
Aside from that, I, nor anyone else, can really guarantee you a good download of the client. It's too popular right now for any server to really handle. They're all going slow.

have you tried torrents? other than that or fileplanet....there is no other way to get it
Danubus just leave the download manager running and hopefully it will finish before OB ends. (if you have the option of leaving your pc on 24/7) That's what I'm hoping for. Failed on me twice now. God only knows if it won't be corrupt when and if it completes.
use the torrents i blitzed the us beta in a few hrs and no need to worry about dl bottoming out GOA have till tomorrow before i try sourcing US key

The game itself isn't a headache... the downloading is? You should change your topic title or else people will just think you're a troll! (yes, these people will also hit "reply" before reading you original post)

There is a download link posted on ThePirateBay... Someone had a similar problem you had and decided to post the download on TPB to avoid such occurances...

I have been using the torrents but didnt want to blatently say so here since I didnt know the rules about discussing them. Their all slow as hell. Ive been downloading the one torrent posted in this thread since 8 am this morning and its only at 24%. Its the worst torrent download Ive ever experienced. Seeders are like 5 and they must have terrible connections because its slooOOOOooooowwwwwww.
Btw, im not worried about the folks who just press reply and will not take the time to read the thread. Kids will be kids.

(You should know that the vast amount of MMO players have a memory like a Goldfish... this is evidenced by the fact that they do not learn from past mistakes. How many people said "I will NEVER preorder another MMO EVA!"? Yet here they are...crying because the preorder is FUBAR again? On the bright side, this means there is easy money to be made. My MMO "SoT" will be available for pre-order real soon...)

Honestly from what I remember, WoW used file planet for their open beta and that was just as big of a headache with all the waiting for the keys and so forth. I don't honestly know what the GoA thing is b/c i'm lucky enough to be in America but it sounds about the same as well.
I have to say Ithink warhammer must suck since they are using fileplanet to download there beta client. I got tossed from queue 3 times and it sucks because there queue ranges from like 1600-2000. I remember when I played on vanguards beta they sucked but at least they didnt use some 3rd rate bastards for there beta client.
How's your hard drive space? The only reason my fileplanet dowload failed is because I didn't check HD space on this lap top.
Tons of room left. It just up and quit on me. I went into the other room to play some Champions PnP with my gamer group and came back to check on it during a break and it had thrown me back in quque. I was hella pissed after spending all that time in quque and to get to 90% to have it just stop and kick me into quque.
