I couldn't imagine not checking debit and credit statements. Catching the local gas station for swiping the card three times saved me $100 one time, for example. He said the swipe didn't take and did it again and then a third time. Came home later that day, checked the statements online and found each swipe was charged on my account. Called the bank the next morning and that shit was handled pronto. Had I not took the time, disputed it or whatver, I would have been out $100 from the get go and would have had to fight it out to get that money back. Shit like this happens all the time. You have to be on that like stink on dookie!
What were done correctly? they should never have withdrawn any money to begin with, not 1usd even. I never purshed those games...
You never purchased the game yet, they have your CC info, they charge you monthly, and you don't notice for a year?

It's interesting you claim you canceled your account, because clearly you didn't. You probably navigated to some page that looked to you like a cancelation when it wasn't.
My earlier point stands: You need to stop your stupid vigilantism on this board, stop complaining to us like a spoiled child, and go call Mythic and ask for your money back. Only after they say they will not return your money for service you never used will you get any sympathy from me.
It still wouldn't be as much sympathy as if you actually tracked your account properly. Letting somebody charge you $15 for a month over a year for something you didn't want isn't a scam: It's an idiot tax.
It dosen't matter if i cheak my debaits 10 times daily like a retarded 90 year old with nothing better to do or not at all, the foult was thiers. I dont care where some of you expect to be charged for an extra poorn movie or not, i do not expect to be unlawfully debaited since its a crime and therefor i do not care to waste time on BS. Its one thing locking your door at nights , its totally diffrent thing sitting up at nights next to the phone waiting for an acident taking place.
I am not naive, i know that people can't be trusted with money and bla bla bla whatever you are trying to tell me i knew the risk i was taking, to lose a whhoopping xx usd sometime. The only reason this went under the radar was because it was sucha small amount every month. A small amount i do not care to call my bank if it was misstake done in a store or sucha since its really not worth the hassle or time and can be a misstake of mine. But 15usd every month for over a year plus whatever those games costed for something i never signed to begin with is so bleh. This is not my ex gf, this is an international gaming company with a reputation that should be of value to them. I never expected to be billed by them at all so i really never looked into it since i never bought a game. I asumed that to be debaited i need to have a game to subscribe to.

If i cheaked it every month i would not even see all the exspenses, they do not mail me anything, everything is show on my internet bank and it only shows 100 lines 1 line being each withdraw.

I do know how to use a credit card, I take it out of my pocked, give it to the waitress and voila, done! I think some of you are cluless, I spend more money in a night out than if i subscribed for long time, i waste money on drinking and i wasted money now since i did not look into bank account like my life depended on it or my economy for that matter, or wait... it dont. I DONT CARE about the money, i feel cheated and thats what piss me off. I dont even think the money i lost due to this would have been worth the time it takes to look trough my debaits on regular baises, but than agin its not about the money, i couldent care less about it even if it was my last 15USD.
Even if rishaki was completely without blame, posting about this on a message board is an awfully chilidish thing to do. A real man would speak to the company, or even talk to authorities to see what their rights are.
Making a post here - what do you expect us to do? Organize a terrorist raid on Mythic/EA headquarters or something?
If someone steal your money do you ask for it back? nope, you blame them and get angry for what they did. Asking them for money back might get me the money back but its not the issue, the issue is that they stole it from me. Childish, this is a forum ment for discussion, this is even a forum ment for WAR/mythic discussions, this is not doac related since it has as much to do with the game as it has to do with WAR, it has even more to do with WAR since its in the spotlight and delivered by this company which credability is totally gone on my behalf.
Interesting. I did not realize that in your country people are justified to slander people when they feel their money was taken.
Here in the United States, we're clearly angrier and stupider than many countries these days, but even we know that this is vigilantism. When we feel we've been stolen from by accident, we speak to the company that has done it privately and see first if they are willing to make amends. Then, if that does not work, we speak to the authorities to see if they are willing to find a peaceful resolution for us. Only when we are completely out of options do we feel resentful, and may be tempted to do something in petty revenge.
You are not completely out of options yet, but you have already begun your revenge by trying to slander. You have not even tried to speak to Mythic yet. Instead, you just come here and start complaining. This board does not even have any official connection to Mythic!
It is hard to sympathize. It is like you feel somebody owes you money, so you will go out on the town square and start yelling things. How does that work? It does not solve anything and just makes people angry at you. It certainly does not get you your money back.

I could have prevented them from charging me more than once, ANYONE COULD HAVE FIGURED THIS. Thats not the bigges error here thoe, its them charging me, i dident scame anyone, they did.

People want to bring it down because it actually has a lot of hype and potential.
I'd like to see them reinstate the other stuff and split off factions a bit more, but other than that I am looking forward to the game (and it running on linux w/or without mythic's blessings)

I LOL'd. OP should never be allowed to own another credit card/debit card/checking account.
You really have to check stuff like this, that's why I actually go out and buy gamecards. I just don't trust companies whatever company they are. Always keep track of your bank account.
Still, it's Mythics fault too, I do know people who had the same problem when Mythic took a months pay after they had quited, they did however check it. Take contact with Mythic about it, you should at least get some of it back.

Its a warning. Hyping this company for whatever is bs, this was a SCAM, i never set up for what i have been debaited.
No, this is you not knowing how all MMORPG trial accounts that exist on the face of the planet work.
You start a trial account, you give them your credit card, and they write in big bold letters: when your trial account runs out they'll start billing your credit card unless you cancel your account. This is done not to sneak money out of your account, but rather because they figure people who sign up for their trial accounts are genuinely interested in subscribing to their games if they didn't cancel.
You screwed up, not Mythic.
However, you're not even giving Mythic the benefit of the doubt here. They actually have a very good reputation for being fair to their customers. Why don't youcall their customer service and say, "Dude! I was checking my VISA account and you've been charging me for months. I didn't want to subscribe! Check my login recods, I haven't even logged in during all that time"
You may be pleasantly surprised to discover that they'll refund your money. Give them a chance instead of running to the nearest message board and engaging in what's basically making a scene in public like a 5-year-old child in the supermarket whose mom didn't buy them a toy.

If this was valid, at an absolute flameworthy bare minimum, it should be put in the DAOC forums. This has no relation to Warhammer at all and is purely someone's idiotic neglect. As people said this guy is not responsible enough to handle a credit card appropriate, that is, assuming that the post is even legitimate in the first place. Meanwhile as said he could call the credit company.
What does he really expect from putting this on the warhammer forums for mmorpg? What are we, a billing site? I doubt it. Meanwhile, charging for expansions? Yeah, nice lie. Maybe he should have tried this in the blizzard forums to get trolled by 100x the number of fanboys, but the same response would apply, aka: stop lying, etc.
