How are the graphics crap?

I was looking at the hype-meter page and saw some comments saying the graphics are crap. How is it crap?
Besides, the game is still in beta.

Some of the better graphics I´ve seen. Maybe theyr computer does not show the .gif images?
Hmm, looks OK to me. Not especially good and a bit old, but OK never the less. Besides the DnL graphics engine is probably optimized to show maximum about of details in the surrounding enviorment and to have a draw distance that is rarely seen elsewhere...
Besides, in DnL gameplay is probably more important than the latest graphics gimmicks...

The graphics are THE BEST to this time.
Personally, I don't listen to those silly kids that rate every other game a 1 and give a stupid comment other than the one they like. I'll bet you that 99% of the people that said the graphics are crap never even looked beyond the title.

Okay, number one: Those pictures are all taken with their old Character Enigne.
Number two: Check out the landscapes!
Number three: Even if the graphics did suck, there are many elements that are by the majority of players considered to be more important... ...game-play, fluidity and Role-Playing-value, for instance!
I gave Dark and Light a ten or a nine, I can't remember. I shoudl go back and make sure it was a ten, because over the last few months I have just grown more and more confident in this game, and I'm suprised that it is not more widely known...
...I guess it's because they haven't had much PR, as for yet. Possibly they want to entice a more serious community, one consisting of people with an actual interest in games, rather than dragging all the scum to their forums.
Naturally they'll want a lot of players once the game is released, but so far the wonderful community has been a huge bonus, and perhaps that helps to keep people hooked.
Add that to the list of important properties, would you?

The hype meter is 100% useless. Its full of rabid fanboys over-praising and jelous idiots (or the retarded) over-trashing. Look at the screenshots yourself and make up your own mind. The game looks fantastic, but gameplay is king

Hmm, I feel that the armor in the shot would be improved or just not used in the game, I mean the belly along with all the sensitive organs within are exposed. You don't get a good look, but it may be you could stab that bloke in the hearth without any trouble...

this game is gonna rock, I will probably switch to it once it is released. hopefully it wont take too long...
and yes, the graphics are anything but bad, they are very good to say the least
