It alrite at some time but not all the time as it does tend to get boring after while you start clicking only with no keys assign to move your characters, only keys for skills. Like fabio says the "cool part of this game is the special effects and the smooth/fast animations". And falling into the water means you cannot get out and will stay there until you relogin.

Its a good time killer for a while. Everything is point and click. The community seems better than most of this type. It never did leave much of a impression (good or bad). I still have it installed, but haven't played in a couple months. Its just kinda ..there...if i get bored.

I'm part of the AO street team for LC, and all the staff are wonderful people there. I wouldn't say it's NOT worth your time, but I wouldn't say it is.

It's  ALOT of grinding.. the graphics are decent. The community are great guys and girls, everyone is just trying to find way to improve and keep members. I play it on my spare time, usually. So it's one of those casual things for me. I wouldn't make it my main game.

I think it's worth your time. You will have a blast getting to level 20. You can decide if you want to continue from there! Hope to see you on there. I'm Turbine on Katar 1!

this game is a cheap copy of lineage 2

would be better if the majority of the population didnt all speak different languages.. point and click which i dont like but some dont mind.. graphics maxed out actually arent bad for a free MMO and the quests are pretty basic and the crafting doesnt pay off until you hit early 20's.. i think i rated it a 6.4...

Last Chaos is nice, but all the areas are in their own small zones, they are not connected. It is not an open/seamless world.

Rappelz is better (open world, better graphics  & viewing distance,...). The same kind of game (same look and feel like Lineage 2/Last Chaos) and also free 2 play (there is an item shop, but it is optional and not needed).

The game looks really nice, and it's got some nice concepts, but then like most free 3D games it gets pretty repetetive and boring. You can try it if you want, but I doubt you'll be playing it for long.

I've played many games, and the ones that I play change weekly. Currently I am very interested in Gunbound, Poker, and Kwon Ho once more. I am thinking of returning to Maple Story and Ghost Online.

It's fun until you get to about lvl 20, then it gets incredibly boring.

The notion that graphics, or anything else for that matter, are anywhere near as important as gameplay/fun is so utterly ridiculous that anyone who shares such a view should be placed in an asylum.

Rappelz I find to be a much better game and I would have recommended it but it's having major connection issues at this moment.

Rappelz is a better game with the same kind of tone. 9dragons is a better free to play game than all, if you're just looking for a game to play.

LastChaos was bland in my opinion, the classes are limited severly by race. The graphics have a washed out look to them, gameplay was very basic with little frills. Your basic click to move, click to attack, hit some hot buttons every now and then. Rappelz atleast had much prietter graphics, many many more classes and really fun and unique job point system that allows for lots of customization in your class and how you play it.

I really can't think of anything good to say about LastChaos, Silkroad even was better.

Nope, not worth it. Dealing with new players who either constantly bombard you with friends/party requests to them trying to steal from you to the GMs being EXTREMELY petty and incompetent (go to the forums if you're interested but its a mess), its a BIG headache that should be avoided. The events are crappy, for instance the 4th of July event was drops of stars and stripes that boosts drops/physical attack-magic power for a whopping 5 MINUTES! And they love to give the most hated players authority (such as making them Game Sages, which anybody with a 6th grade reading level can become one). It's really imbalanced as far as classes, the Rogues and Knights have a huge advantage over Titans, Healers, Mages and Summoners (Sorcerors).

GMs threaten to ban people but almost never do (even with video proof). Also, if you try to call out a GM they will either try to ban you from the forum or ignore you because many of them can't back up anything they say (or they say the same thing, just try to insult your intelligence by trying to wordplay). And some of them will even ban you for confronting them and THEN reply to your comment, so they can get the last word. They even try to boast about their growing community, not mentioning that most of the veterans left and most of their growing community is a constant flood of new people who end up quitting too.

They claim to have 2 new servers that is suppose to be the RPG server but its only 1 server ( a GM said so but of course they didn't change the typo). The rules stated that you have to have a RPG type of name...yet again, rules are not enforced so Bob69 is running around attempting to speak Old English (because some people playing on that server think that RPG equates to speaking horrible faux Old English).

There are some decent people in the "community" but overall, a bunch of drama kings and queens. Not worth it, Rappelz and Silk Road Online are way better in my opinion. 9 Dragons, I haven't played it yet but I hear its better than Last Chaos. Also, what makes these games better than Last Chaos is that you don't have to spend money to enjoy yourself, unlike Last Chaos it seems like you have to spend money to get more out of the game (which is what they want, for you to play...spend money and quit for the new batch of suckers to fall in their trap).

    IceManja,

This game is CLEARLY not for you. This is not a highly sophisticated game. It can however be a fun game. It is especially rewarding if you work with the community (i.e. make friends). If these things don’t appeal to you, then you should move on. (Games are supposed to be fun.... and it doesn’t look like you are having fun)

To adress some of your issues:

Game Sages are all volunteers. They are players that have demonstrated some game knowledge, and an interest in helping others. There is no requirement to be a rocket scientist, simply being knowledgeable and helpful. It is not nice to berate others because they spend some of their time helping others.

There are rules for posting on the official forums. Posts that do not follow those rules are removed, and accounts that repeatedly break the rules are banned.

The rules (and punishments) are listed here: url=http://lastchaos.aeriagames.com/policy/gamerules]Linky[/url]

For any action to be taken for an IG problem, a GS/GM must be present to observe, or a video submitted. If you have been quoted this multiple times… it is most likely because you have not yet caught on.

As for the events… well many people enjoy them. The 4th event included items that gave a 5 minute boost. These items dropped regularly, and many players used them all day. There were also more rare drops (such as the hats).

Events can only add to the game. If you don’t enjoy the game (or the community) events will not change this.

I love to feel that I can not tackle all monster around my hometown even after playing the game for one whole week :)

My feeling is that it will keep on beeing fun for a long time so I look forward to playing it, only if I could protect that darn princess on my way out of the dungeon, well hope I will make it with her safely out in third try.

Aeria Games & Entertainment (AGE) made a Skill Point (SP) modification to the game, where you need more SP, which means countless hours of grinding away (SP farming). If you’re not an LC player, SP is what you need to max out all your skills, and if you’re a Guild Master, you also need so much SP to level your guild up, and besides your class skills, there is also the option to maxing out what are called Special Skills.

Special Skills include, making potions, and your own weapons, and armor; and a player is forced to do this, because high level armor, and weapons are not available after a player reaches level 27. A player can wear armor 5 levels higher than your own level, and can equip a weapon 4 levels higher than your own level; however, the highest level of armor that is for sale from an NPC, is level 32, and the highest level weapon that is for sale from an NPC is level 29. If you have chosen not to make your own weapons, and armor, then you are also forced to buy the high level weapons, and armor from other players, and the majority of the players in Merchant Mode, are ridiculously overpriced, further causing a hard time for a player to make money in the game (so this is why the game is also filled with scammers).

Now, if you’re lucky enough to meet nice people in this game (which is very rare, because this game has the most immature community from a game I’ve ever seen); and hopefully that person belongs to, or manages a level 6, or higher guild, ask to join that Guild. If a Guild is level 6, or higher, the Guild Master can adjust your Experience Gain, which is referred to as Experience (XP) Donation towards the Guild, which also helps level a Guild, as the XP donated gets turned into Guild Points (GP). By donating XP, you can slow down your leveling, or cease leveling all together, in order to SP farm.

Now, the problem with joining a level 6, or higher Guild, to donate XP:

AGE hasn’t modified the game so that if a player is in a level 6, or higher Guild, that player can’t adjust their own XP Donation, and ONLY the Guild Master can, which is rather thoughtless on AGE’s behalf, because…..

a.) A Guild has the potential to being leveled, to level 10; however, most Guild Masters won’t put a Guild to level 10, as there is a glitch in the Guild system, and even if a Guild isn’t level 10, this glitch has a way of booting members from a Guild.

b.) If a Guild is already level 9, you won’t get in if you’re a lower level player, because the Guild ONLY wants high level players.

c.) Since there are players from all around the world, playing this game, depending on where you are from, and where your Guild Master is from, time zones differ, and you might not be on, when your Guild Master is on, or vice versa, so that you can have your XP Donation locked, or unlocked.

d.) And because the Guild Master is the ONLY person who can adjust a Guild Member’s (guildies) XP Donation, it gets rather annoying when the Guild Master has 5/6 guildies asking, “Can you lock my XP at 95%?”, and then a half hour later, they start asking “Can you unlock me?”, or every 5 minutes the Guild Master is being pestered to adjust a player’s XP Donation, until that player is satisfied with how much XP he/she is donating.

e.) Also, if a Guild Master goes inactive, then a player has to quit the Guild, and find a new one; which is very hard to do, because as players get higher in level, and the higher the level the players are in a Guild, in addition to how high the level of the Guild is, they tend not to help anyone (pretty sad really, since you often hear people in this game saying “It’s only a game.”; but yet, in the virtual world, they think they’re the stuff. That’s taking what’s supposed to be “a game”, a little too real for my liking).

Another flaw with the new SP system in LC:

If it happens you don’t, or can’t get in a level 6 or higher guild to have your XP Donation locked, so you can SP Farm; it’s remarkably hard to SP Farm as you do get in the higher levels, as there aren’t many opponents worth much SP. In this aspect, AGE has made this game incredibly difficult to play, if a player doesn’t have the correct amount of SP to gain a new skill(s).

When a player is in the lower levels, all that player wants to do, is level as quickly as possible; however, if that player has his/her XP Donation locked, the game gets ultimately boring, as it can take approximately a month, or 2 (without the aid of purchasing items, such as SP Pills, from the Item Mall, with your Credit Card) to SP Farm, to get the required SP to max out all your skills, and it’s best to SP Farm while in the lower levels.

All in all, along with the….

a1.) Ultimately BORING, and SEEMLESSLY NEVERENDING effort of the FLAWED SP Farming System, and the…..

b1.) UNAVAILIBILITY of high level weapons, and armor, and the…..

c1.) FLAWED, and GLITCHED Guild System.....

A player also has to deal with the Last Chaos Community, which is a VERY IMMATURE Community.

If you lay low, and stay off the Message Boards with Last Chaos, you should be fine. However, it’s rather disheartening, and disgusting, when a player asks on the Message Boards, about whether Kill Stealing (KS’ing), and Luring on other players are bannable offenses in the game (which these things USED to be bannable offenses, and are ONLY bannable now under a Harassment Rule, and Last Chaos no longer accepts Screen Shots as evidence, and everything HAS to be on Video), and a Game Master has that Message Board locked; BUT, doesn’t lock a Message Board when a Forum Moderator, and a Game Sage participate in flaming other players.

So, if you can’t hack all the FLAWS I’ve noticed with this game, the Last Chaos Message Board Community is even more BRUTAL, and how anyone can find this game enjoyable is beyond me.

To be honest, I find the people that have invented, produced, and distributed games for Aeria Games & Entertainment, along with the Message Board Forum Moderators, and Game Masters, Moderators, and Sages…..

They’re all MESSED UP, and stay the hell away from any game that is Aeria Games & Entertainment produced, because they’re Message Board Forum Communities are so LAME, and IMMATURE, that it also has caused me, and countless others, to quit playing this game; and then the countless hours of NEVERENDING SP Farming has caused me, and again, countless others to become completely BORED with Last Chaos. Every single aspect of what I have listed here has totally caused me, and my friends, to lose complete interest in Last Chaos, and anything else Aeria Games & Entertainment produces next; I won’t, and my friends won't either, even go near it.

I've been playing the game for well over a year now.  I actually believe that the changes to the skill system enhance the game tremendously.  As for sp farming, they've made it easier at lower levels, and easier at higher levels.  You just have to know where to hunt.

As for your comments about the community.  Pure hogwash.  MOST folks that play this game will gladly take the time to answer questions and help out.  Yes, we have our share of morons, but I challenge you to name a game that doesn't.....you can't don't even try....

I run a level 9 guild on Cariae-5 that gladly helps lower levels out, even to the point of taking level 20's even though we have many higher level players in the guild.  We do this because we believe that in helping someone get started, we will gain loyal members as they get stronger.  I have run InfinityCircle in many games over the years, and have come to the conclusion that it's easier to help a quality person level than it is to find a quality person who's high level...lol

All of these games have their good points and bad points.  But I will challenge you to find a better community. It's the people in the game that keep me coming back!
