Beta invites?

Have they been sent out yet?

As mentioned in this post on this forum, friends and family alpha is the only thing running right now and the beta wont start until tentatively mid Sept.

Also, if you had read the Beta FAQ's on the SGW forum where you posted this same thing you would know that the non-disclosure agreement would prevent anyone from saying they got an invite without losing that invite. It also mentions that when you sign up for the beta, if memory serves.

For the convenience of other people who may not be signed up for the SGW forums where all you have to do is glance at the beta forum to find this information I'm going to be posting some information about the beta in another post which I will then link here in an edit.

Did you have to be an ass when you replied? I hope most of the people who play are NOT like you or it may be the most unpleasant experience of my life, a bit like going to the dentist.

The other poster was not being rude to you, he was pointing out a glaring fault you demonstrated. One of the things that are needed by beta testers are the ability to Read and Comprehend stuff. All the information you needed for you question was easily answered by reading the stickies on the SGW site. Instead you choose to ingore all the available information and ask a stupid question.

Don't worry though, there are thousands like you also that fail to comprehend that there are FAQ's and Sticky posts to read for information (most of them will answer 99.9% of all frequently asked questions).

Ehh, as we can see alot of people are not reading FAQs... before you aplied to "beta test system managment" you had to read something, and there was written all what you need to know.

I hope they will add new races to SG Worlds as fast as possible. I'm w8ting for Wraights

What I find interesting is that if there is an NDA covering the invites won on this site then what happens when Cheyenne clicks on the Beta Key contest banner and they see all the winners listed, which I believe is open to the general public. It is not so secret anymore.
