Criminal mmo like Grand Theft Auto any plan?

Wondered if any company is going to develop criminal mmo for example Granf Theft Auto or Street Crime, something like that.

it would be an interesting concept though to have a criminal mmo...
but i can see the news headlines now "kid steals/shoots/burns (insert your idea here), kid blames his behavior on a new massively multiplayer game called, Whateva I Do What I Want"

APB wont be a fps, its a third person shooter. They also raised 50 million in the last round of funding so thats more than Warhammer spent. The guy who created gta(he sold it to rockstar) is making it.

The hype would be something fierce. I think, IMO, that they would be better off with a persistant(sp) world kinda like test drive unlimited attempted but unfortunately failed at.
Make a mish mosh with some MMO elements, I think you'll have a cash cow.

I and many others had this wish ever since GTA1 or atleast at the time many dreamed of it being a online game.
I think eventualy we might get a GTA online, but I feel there are allot of things to consider, first of all take a look at country's who ban a game like GTA, that already limits the possibility's for short term. Secondly take a look at current tech and I am sure Rockstar will not start making a GTA mmorpg when they feel tech is up to it to deliver what they are good at but then in a new area for RS as in the MMORPG area.
APB is as close one can gets atm for a virtual world similar to that of GTA.
I cant wait for APB. Too bad MMOs take way too long to make

GTA is supposed to be a character more aptly described as a "one man gang" controlling over everything illegal (or was it legal?) in the city. So what do you make as monsters to level up? Civilians? Then we're talking about a HUGE massacre here. Definitely an R-18.

Sounds like you're doing the latter, former ESL teacher. You do realize that they've changed things quite often in recent years in the dictionary. They added 'funner'. Because people kept using it so much and it wasn't a word so they said f' it.
So I bothered to look it up myself, and I was wrong, kinda. A lot of thesaurus' have chic in one way or another listed as basically a highly fashionable woman.
Last, you totally missed the reasoning behind my message anyways, you know, the whole under age chicks thing? Apparently thats acceptable to you. Maybe that's why you're a former and not a present tense.

on topic: theres also a mmorpg called 7million (www.7million.com) i think its also based on crime etc. graphics kinda looks like GTA: vice city.
