For me it is Guild Wars 2. Persistent world, no montly fee, more race choices, improved GVG which will also feature World PVP and many new things to come.

I am very much looking forward to this too as well as SGW.
I'm gonna have to go ahead and say Aion with every new article I read I get more and more excited for its release in North America. Seems like it will combine some of the stuff I loved from Korean MMOs with stuff we all know and love about the Western style MMOs.
I'm amazed at all of the Darkfall requests/excitement..
To be honest.. I'm really looking forward to a Non Medievil MMO. AO was good.. That's pretty much the only one I played.
I guess what I'm really looking for is.. Asheron's Call. But.. redone with better graphics (and not all of the chunk mountain shit) I want a game with WIDE open spaces with Stat/skill customization. I liked what AO did in that you could sort of do what you wanted.. the weapons weren't class dependant, but required certain stats. And in AC.. the begininng, you could weild anything... I guess I'm tired of all the terain being added everwhere... where no area really feels different (just a different color landscape). DAoC did pretty good in that respect.. a nice variety.
I wanted to get everyones opinion on games... but I saw a lot of asian MMORPG's as well.. and .. I'm not a big fan of those (although city of heroes is a really good game). I dont' really like the asian markted games because they sort of lack.. well.. I think it may just be the art direction. I'm not a huge anime fan. And 95% of the games that come out of asain.. are anime.
Definitely Aion, nothing else interests me nearly as much as it does. I've been following its progress for 1 and 1/2 years now and it just looks better and better as time goes on

CoH isn't actually an Asian game. It was developed by Cryptic Studios which is based in California. NCsoft published it, though, and I think it's NorCal office is now doing it's development.
Crusades looks intersting, so do STO and SGW. The Agency looks nice along with both champions and DCO. Im gonna be hoping for a lot of beta invites lol.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

Personally, I'm most looking forward to cross-platform Everquest that SOE has been hinting at. Let the anti-SOE flames begin..... But seriously, I've played a lot of MMOs, and none really grabbed me or gave me that true sense of immersion as EQOA on the PS2, EQ1 and EQ2. Say what you want about SOE and their lackluster support for games. But I think with the new management heirarchy at Sony, with the combintion of SOE and SCEA, and their focus on MMOs as a true profit point in the future for them, I think we'll all see a change to their dev teams and CS teams. The Everquest franchise was always able to suck me in fully because of their focus on group play, as opposed to leveling 1-70 by myself as I did in WoW. PvP is fun, but the real reason I play MMORPG is not to kick the crap out of other players (that's what SOCOM's for), but rather to join a community with them, and via cooperative play, take down some really cool mobs, whether it's in the countryside or in a dungeon. I hope that with SOE and Smedley's new proclaimed focus on PC/PS3 MMO's, we'll see a reincarnation of their flagship MMO with a new EQ that has the support, polish and flow of WoW, but the community and the immersion of EQ. Also, I miss being able to play on a console every now and again, and now have to screw around with video settings, etc. Although having the option to play one account on both a PC and a PS3 would be cool, especially if the girlfriend is boaggarting the PC with MySpace or whatever for the night ;-) Let's go, EQ:X !! (That's what I'm calling it for now ) As far as adding something we haven't seen before to the genre, I'd keep an eye out for Curt Schilling and 38 Studios mystery project, Copernicus - looks like they're up to something groundbreaking. Whatever it is, let's hope they get it right the first time, so Blizzard doesn't come along, steal it, and perfect it, and make a billion dollars a year on it. Although THAT game would probably be really sweet, too.
I hope you are right. A new EQ with WOW's polish but with a stinging death penatly and "TRAINS" (i.e., aggroed mobs that can attack other players outside the group that pulled them).
I do hope they get rid fo the heroic opportunity wheel and the nonsense about classes gaining new skills every level, even in the middle of a level. EQ2 had too many redundant features.
I second that I hate that Heroic Opp Wheel!
Its the only reason I don't play the game....and if your not using the wheel forget about doing any real damage..

Darkfall
Darkfall Travelogues!
Fallen Earth seems cool. Other than that nothing is striking my fancy.
Edit: I take that back also whatever Bioware is working on as well.
Chronicles of Spellborn
Stargate Worlds
Whatever BioWare is hiding behind the curtain
I really just want a killer Sci-Fi MMO is that to much to ask?

President of The Marvelously Meowhead Fan Club
Darkfall + Earthrise
AIon:Tower of Eternity is the game im really looking forward to. I just hope they do a good job with it.
The next upcoming MMO im looking forward to is Fallen Earth, it feels amazing. It is exactly what I have been searching for ever since Pre-CU SWG.

I would have to say Fallen Earth.
It has most of what I've been looking for, since the fall of SWG.
The last of the Trackers
