Lol another sad power-levelling burnout wondering why he is all alone in T4 and concluding the game must be "broken". Thank god I have a real life so I can play the game as a game and not life substitute. I'm enjoying myself immensely - My main is in T3 and I got a couple of alts in T1 and T2. There is never a slow minute for me!
Um the OP is the one that quit, not the guy with no life. No wonder why your happy with a broken, unfinished, unpolished game.
naw i want people to know i did give the game a shot and i did make it post 20 and that im not just posting that i left just to say i left with no evidence of actually getting into the game and seeing its odds and ends.

Oh dear, a knee-jerk reaction there .
I appologize to everyone concerned and I'll edit the offending post.
Oh and I don't agree with you in the second sentence, and resent the implication.

Hmmm, good point. WAR is still the second best MMO on the market right now.

it may not be as polished as wow, but in 4 years, it will be. if they both launched at the same time, i really believe wow would not be where it is today. lots of people are just too stubborn "i have too much time invested to leave". i have alot of time in it too, but i have no problem not playing it again. i wish my wife felt the same way .

In order for a new game to pull people away from the old game, it has to offer a compelling reason for them to leave. It isn't so much about the loss of time in the former game, but about what is going to be gained in the new game.
Warhammer has some serious issues right now and you can see much of that reflected in the state of the game address.
It doesn't really matter what a game was like 4 years ago, if it offers a better experience now compared to a new release, people will just return to the old game. The exception are those people who are so burned out with the old game that they are closer to desperation for some alternative.
Warhammer might bounce back since it occupies a segment that needs filling right now though and the team is pretty dedicated. There is a lot of good in the game, but overall is doesn't deliver yet.

The other thing is just the size of the development team. WOW offers free content that includes more than most EQ-type expansion. You know Blizzard can spend money on customer service, QA and devs, as well as hardware upgrades.
Warhammer cost 50M to make, so far they have brought in about 8M from box sales (they get less than 20%). Subscribers seem to be down about 400k and have been dropping 10% since the second week. At some point EA is going to start pulling CS and QA away, and then devs.
The final thing on why people will play WOW over other games is because Blizzard isn't afraid to rip off the best ideas from other games and making them better. How much do you want to bet that within a year, Blizzard will have something like PQs that will be done better than Warhammer. You don't make money by making the first mousetrap, you make money by having the best mousetrap on the market.

Magic Numbers for the Win yay! lol ... my god where do you get this information is Blizzard Paying you?
You've made your point in about 50 threads now..You don't like Warhammer...Please Move on your officially being unconstructive.
