One of the Few Examples of Real Journalism this Election

just when you thought everyone was in the tank for Obama and his apprentice, Darth Plagiarus, some real journalism happens:

fishermage.blogspot.com/2008/10/finally-some-real-journalism.html

Props to WFTV, Barbara West and Bob Jordan.

EDIT/Update: looks like the Obama thugs have been getting youtube to remove the interview wherever they can. I found another copy of it. We'll see how long that one lasts.

Looks like he pretty much owned her in his answers.

Sure he did, by attacking back, asking her who wrote her questions, by using the appeal to ridicule, and then resorting in the end to ad hominem. Fallacies FTL.

LOL.. Real journalism.  She asked things taken -directly- from the right wing's book.. questions which have been asked time and time again and discounted.  Biden had every right to be upset with the questions because they were ridiculous.

Watched the video.  That was pretty weak.  Loaded questions.  Bias.  Distortion.  Real Journailsm my ass.  Soooo tired of this shit.  Obama will be next POTUS.  Give up already.  You lost.

Haha thanks for posting that. It was hillarious. Everybody should watch that and vote democrat.

The look on Bidens face was priceless, and at the end he was shaking his head. I wonder what went through his mind. The questions just showed how foolish the repub talkingpoints are.

I dont really put any blame on her. She was just asking questions and giving Biden an opportunity to explain his positions. Did she really believe what she said? Well, if she did that's just sad.

So attack dog interviews now equals real journalism? When republicans figure this out they will be able to begin to dig themselves out of the hole there in.

The only real news here, as far as I can see, is how little they have been able to dig up on there democratic opponent, and how desperate they are to smear him.

So do you think the ten people that clicked that link doubled his blog's traffic for the month?

I like how she asked "How is he not a marxist" which just seemed like a lame attempt to call Obama a communist which is silly because improving welfare doesn't automatically make you an marxist or communist.

Basically it was like "OMG WHAT IF USA WONT BE A SUPERPOWER ANYMORE AND OBAMA'S A COMMUNIST."

    Also, Sweden was mentioned, yay!

This just shows how silly the fear of socialism is.

Upset because it is the truth and Biden had no answer to the questions. The rest of the sycophant MSM doesn't have the gonads to ask the real questions.  If "spreading the wealth" doesn't mean marxism to you, then you are the one with the problem.

Looks like she didn't get what she wanted. Biden didn't take the bait and give her a violent aggressive reaction she was hoping for. Its going to take much more to get someone worked up and grumpy. She's just trying to be hardcore like Fox News.

What is most interesting is, like Biden, the people here can only attack in response.

Who's attacking anything? She tried to bait him and he laughed and responded. She started it, he finished it. The Neocons in the media are just going to have to try harder.

He did not respond. A response would be to inform the public how "speading the walth around" is not Marxism. Laughing at people, and then declaring them dead to you is not a response.

only thing i'm seeing is how desperate people are getting trying to slam Obama the closer we get to election.  I doubt you are gonna change anyones minds on these forums but thanks for playing.

I'm not trying to change anyone's minds. I'm not even a McCain supporter. I am, as always, sharing information and having a conversation.

So, can you explain how "spreading the wealth around" is NOT Marxism?

She didn't get the response she was looking for. This interview was not very fair and balanced when compared to her interview soft-balling John McCain.

Once again, just an attack against the messenger, as opposed to responding to the issue. Are you admitting that "spread the wealth around" is Marxism?

    Game Protip for ideologies.

Ideologies can have similiar views and you can't define them with just one thing alone.

Okay, that's certainly possible. Are you saying that Obama's ideology is similar to Marxism? If so, what similar ideology does he hold to, in what ways is it similar to Marxism? In what ways is it different?

I have ask this several times on these forums. They just throw it out there. Anyone who is center to center right they call neo-con. The youngest among us have the oldest ideas.

I slap my head at what Fishermage and a few others here call "real journalism".

Enjoy your last few days of thinking the Republicans have a chance.

I will post here with glee next Tuesday as the excuse machine comes in.

I'm not a Republican, I don't support McCain, and I've been saying all along that Obama will probably win. At any rate, it seems you too would rather discuss other things and refuse to answer the question raised.

You know I'm sorry, but I don't believe you that you aren't voting for McCain.  I really don't.  To think that that is real journalism belies your real feelings more than the lip service you provide here.

So you still insist on making things personal instead of discussing issues? Interesting.
