A NEUTRAL RACE!!

Now i have been giving this alot of thought and i bet its to late to do anything to the game, becasue its almost finished.
My idea would be to have a NEW RACE, not on alliance or horde, this race would be a NEUTRAL RACE. I dont know what it could be. If there was a small race from WC3 that could be added.
The catch would be, the NEUTRAL RACE would be very difficult to play. Smaller lvl cap and a different island that they could be placed on. It would be more so people dont have to choose GOOD or BAD, you can be inbetween. The new race would have to have at least two new classes.(dont know what they would be). The race could not join the horde or alliance. The race would not be accepted by either horde or alliance which would make it more difficult. Now this idea, i think would be very interesting and would add a twist on things. This idea of MINE , would be a great expansion to the World of warcraft in the future.

What do you think, would this work? or would it be an unessecary addition to the game. Leave the game as it is/will be.

Maybe you think im crazy but this may just be something to take others away form EQ. ::::12::

How did you NOT seeing being rude when saying that isn't your idea bub. When I said it looked as if EQ2 was copying WoW on griffon rides I said looked like not 'It isn't their idea it's SOE copying Blizzard bub.'

Sides When was the concept of a pandaran being neutral NOT WoW's idea? EQ2 got padarens now or something?

If you play the orc campaign in Frozen Throne you would notice you had the option of playing with a Panderan, so they are not entirely neutral. If they went to any side, it would be the Horde.

As to this idea. I dont really consider myself as 'good' when I choose the alliance side because each side is good in their own eyes, as the horde will see alliance as evil. I just see myself as playing one side of a war.

haha good one, dam EQers :P anyway, THOSE GODDAM GNOMES SHOULD BE REPLACED WITH PANDERENS!! god.. gnomes are just dwarves with less muscles, less humor, and more lawn handling. Panderens would have awesome racial features like : Panda natural instinct, family call, Bear dance, eh? WHOS WITH ME ?

but honestly, they would be awesome, and the classes that they would be for would probably be : warrior, shaman, samurai (somwat like the warrior, except more about honor, could wear samurai specific armor that warriors cant wear, and would have some cool ass samurai abilitiees and weapons, like bamboo sword

), and maybe some other things u guys would want, like MAYBE hunter, but that would look somwat odd if u ask me. but ya, if they do make an expansion or WoW 2, then i honestly think that Panderens would be an awesome addition, being the horde vs alliance counterpart to taurens (ie. orc-human, undead-nite elf, dwarf-troll, tauren-panderen). SO WHOS WITH ME????!!!!!

Well, now that the retarded flame war is over I can address the actual forum topic. Gee what an idea... Anyhow, To answer your question I don't think your crazy. I think it would be interesting to bring in a new race. The Panderan's would be interesting, I've seen a lot of obsession with them since the April Fools gag that brought them.

However I think rather then making them neutral if you made them indifferent I think it would be better. Maybe I'm crazy but make them either a race that is PvP on both sides or neither side, my vote being the former PvP rocks... And if you really want to make it difficult, since their neutral... Make it so their netrality hinders them, maybe since they WON'T choose a side to the war, no NPC will sell to them except their own NPC's in their towns.

What do ya think? Or am I crazy now?

Actually, i don't even think blizz would need to make a sequel to wow, i think they can add races just by patching WoW. But this would be a good idea, but maybe instead of being neutral to both races, being hostile to both? Then raids would work out, and they can add another race to side with pandarens, maybe not naga, but some new race, like a race of sloths, or orangitangs?

One Neutral race that would make sense and be easy to implement would be letting players be Goblins. Blizzard wouldn't even have to create a new starting town.

The Goblin players could start out in one of the places where there already are NPC goblins ... say Booty Bay for example.

You could also add an option to choose a crafting only class. This would give a chance for a different style of play for those who do not wish to engage in combat. The Goblin players would also be able to sell to both factions hence ... more customers.

How does that sound to you guys?

Thats actually really insightful, I actually like hat idea. Me personally I'm a little crafter a lot PvE. But I have friends that love to craft and hate to fight that would actually be really cool for them.

I hope this doesn't sound sarcastic cause it's not meant to be... Blizzard has a idea submission link if I remember right on Blizzard.com I seriously think you should toss it in the barrel. Who knows maybe after the one year anniversary I'll be buying a new set of dual scimitar's from abollardiere the crafty goblin trader! Seriously!

It would be completely worth it to play a crafter only class. But it would have to have sub classes like specializations. Unless you mean just getting bonuses to the Professions that have already been implemented. I would love to purchase a Goblin Tank or something and have my Troll run over a whole Alliance town. How hilarious would it to be to see a huge tank barraling toward your town and you see a huge Goblin stiicker on the side of it. If you can, it would be worth offering up the idea to Blizzard.

ya good ideas comin in . anyway, about my expansion idea, forget the part about the expansions, patches would be fine if they can use them to implement the neutral race, i just needed a word, cuz i believe that expansions to mmorpgs (im mostly pointin to EQ) really ruin the game, but then again, i wouldnt have bought EQ if it didnt have any expansions and was all done wen it came out...

so ya, panderens i'd like, and goblins sound awesome too, so i think it shouldnt be Horde Vs. Alliance, it should be Horde Vs. Alliance Vs. 3rd thingy (maybe think up a name). the 3rd thingy would include races like: Panderen, Goblins, dragons (like mini ones i guess, MAYBE), Gnolls . Something like that, and they would have classes like : Samurai, Crafter (with subclasses), ninja, etc. I doubt that WoW will actually implement this, but i always have fun thinking about the What If?'s, u kno wat i mean? so ya, just thought i'd get that out..

And to that EQ guy, dude, WoW's fans are much less addicted than EQ's fans, most of WoW fans havnt spent a penny on WoW merchandise (yet anyway), but just like the game cuz its gonna turn out 2x as good as EQ2, and EQ fans already spent like over 100$ JUST TO PLAY THE GAME FULLY UpDATED! god.. expansions totally ruin games..... so ya , sup sup, totally, rock on WOW, yaya .... END POST-!!~` ... YA!

I was kind of dissapointed to find out that 2 of my best friends will be undead warlocks so they'll never be able to hang out with my main which will be a rogue dwarf... And now I must create a horde character just to play with them even though I don't like any other race than dwarf

I myself am voting the Goblin because I like crafting and we already have a bunch of damage dealer classes and a Samurai just seems like it would add to that extensive.
