Lord of the Rings Online: Free In Game Gift is not for european accounts I suppose ? Cause my key doesn't work......

    yea its seems it is only us customers' as eu have to use cog accounts for subscriptions.

    maybe mmorpg can get us eu ppl some cool stuff.

    That's correct, the key only works with Turbine, which is the NA version.

    I just did it. How do I claim the gift? I logged in and do not actually have it. Is it only available to new chars or is there some way to /claim the item?

    Is there something special you have to do?  It keeps saying my key has already been used.

    I'm getting the same issue. I have the north american version and its telling me its already in use.

    Ah well, don't really care about it.

    The hauberk I got from last weekend's gift event looks about the same. So I don't want still another one to take up bank space...

    I got the item, its cosmetic only and not that good looking.     I put it on briefly, will likely never wear it again.

     

    Don't stress over it, you're not missing out on anything.

    Sure, I care not, as Boromir would say (even if he did care) about this petty gift, it's just we are supposed to play the same game so it sucks if one continent gets a gift when the other is left wondering, and mmorpg.com should have made clear it's not for Codemasters' subscribers.

    In the future Turbine/Codemasters should harmonize to avoid such discrepancies and on a side note but on topic the European forums/website suck compared to their NA counterparts, and I wonder if two info sources on the game were that needed.

    Just curious cause I didn't see an answer, I applied the code, it worked, got confirmation email, but see no item, and its been more than an hour, probably 12 in fact.  Is there something I need to do to 'get' the item?

    I logged into my account and entered the key.  I got a message that the key was applied to my account.

     

    The hauberk didn't show up in my inventory until the next day though.  It looks nice.  Thanks mmorpg.com :)

    Well I have been waiting 2 days for the item lol  Hauberk of the Mithril Guard still have not gotten it.  See it is not about the free gift it is about the company making sure that it gives the people what they offer. Just like if I walk in with a coupon.
