This is not really about praising Aion, I just want to say a few things about Aion objectively at this point in time.
1. Aion include alot of pushing, pulling, and lifting in their skills, I believe this is a step in the right direction as far as battle mechanics go.
2. NCsoft as always does good job at designing the style of the game. The character, monster, and clothing design looks nice as always. The environment I can't really say much about since the videos I seen don't always have good enough quality to tell anything.
3. As far as gameplay goes, we won't really know the whole story till the western betas are ready for testing, so I will refrain from making any comment on it.
4. The skill system as always seem a bit linear from the informations in the Korean Betas, even though I do see parts where they attempt to make it a bit customizable. (Seal Stone system)
5. Animation wise, since the video is filled with spamming of skills, it is hard to tell. Again I'll refrain from making comment on it other than the fact that the animation looks to be above average.
In conclusion, I will definitely try this game out, but I won't really go so far as to hype it up before it is in front of my own eyes.
What is your opinion on Aion from the informations we currently have? (Objectivity would be nice, other wise we just end up with bunch of "awesome" or "terrible".
EDIT: Thought of a few things that might be considered as flaws. Added them to the list.

Looks AWESOME!!!!
lol that's TERRIBLE..... but it does look AWESOME
Unfortunately i have nothing but praise for this title so am unsure if i can say what you want to read.
There are some vids out there that are decent quality of the scenery and such if i can find em i will link em for ya.
I'm going to respond point by point and tell you what I think.
1. I'm actually not sure what you mean here by pushing and pulling? Do the battle animations look cool, heck yes.
2. The only sticky point here is the environment it is was reported by one person that the environment are not quite as nice as the models, or maybe it was just personal references. Here's higher quality videos:
Vimeo Aiononline
From the videos I think the environment looks fantastic, reminiscent of Guild Wars, but of a higher quality.
3. Agreed that's still hard to tell at this point until the preview events. From the reports of testers/previewers I know I'm going to enjoy myself, I find the current leveling too fast in Eq2 I don't have time to smell the roses and I'm up 2 levels. I don't even have time to upgrade my spells at low levels, which saves me money so I guess it's okay.. But what I mean is I wouldn't mind a slower pace and mobs that are a bit harder to kill.
4. Oh there I totally agree, the skill system though refined and nice isn't what I would actually like. I really hate being limited to a class and certain skill sets. This way it's very cookie cutter, the stigma system has been nerfed already which I thought was disappointing. It was for balancing issues though which trumps coolness. Still would someone make an MMO with no classes? Please?! lol.
5. Well if the skill sets are just like other MMOs I do expect to spam away. What will be cool is the combo system which grants groups high damage depending on which steps players choose. Think LotrO combos, or FFXI combos.
My one big thing about Aion, the housing. >,< I'm unsure if this is the perfect game for me simply based on this, if a more sandbox game comes along with player housing, it'll be hard for me to say no. The last rumors we heard was that housing would possibly be attackable... The carebear in me would rather that castles remain what is attackable, and make housing a place where you can hang your pack and your trophies.
(,,,)=^__^=(,,,)
I think on his first point he was talking about how templars can pull in mobs and pick them up/throw them around, or how gladiators can skewer enemies and swing them around
