I kinda like the graphical styly, even though all players have very large feets.
But the game could really have more quests, while it doesn't seem particulary buggy (except stupid Gameguards vista compability problems) it do need a lot of more content to be a better game.
i think it is quite ag ood game.. the begining isnt boring the game is just hard to grasp at the begining the graphics are suprisingly nice quite detailed combat is ... new the game has great humor lol and the community is great but the best suprise is the AI and its reaction i havent yet seen that in an mmo and the sound it terrific.... as far as i played it i only came on one bug and that is you cant sit on a chair xD so no gamebreaking... i see alot of people enjoying this game and this will probable have i say....200k subs lol
The game has an AC2 feel ever so slightly. I didn't really like the combat system but overall the game was ok slightly differen't than your average mmo I guess I'd say it's a try before you buy with this one ladies unless you're 100% hyped about the game.
i love how i can configure my looks right from the start
i find combat more interesting then in many other mmos (well i like aoc 2 so shoot me)
i love the fact that you have to read the quests
i love the fact that the classes arent typical healer, tank dd
all and all im happy i ordered the game and ill prolly trade war for tcos
on the downside, tcos is low budget, it isnt overhyped, it prolly isnt as content rich as others but it has a very solid base and i hope (even tough they messed up with the distribution deal) it will develope slowly and positively similar to eve
if your bored, visit my blog at: http://craylon.wordpress.com/ dealing with the look of mmos with the nvidia 3d vision glasses
I love TCoS but they completely screwd the game by excluding UK from Europe. I'm also angry because Italy (where I live) don't have a publisher yet and nor Spain
I think it is weird that clothes/armour is for looks alone. I have a hard time accepting a full plate player with AC as if wearing cloth or the other way around. I understand that they want to make gear less of an aspect to the game, but to me it is just stupid.
I very much suspect I will try it anyway, I always end up trying most MMO:s...oh and the skill system looks very interesting and innovative.

Everything you said.
This is the first game where I actually want to read the quest dialogue and play the game because it's so much fun to play, instead of rushing through the content to get to the higher level group content to farm items.
Many of the quests are so brilliantly written they deserve a prize for that alone. I've only played until lvl 10, so I can only hope it stays that way on higher levels.
But there still are some issues, they need to impelent a tutorial to instruct people that it is possible to dodge attacks, i played the game for a week whithout realizing I was playing it wrong. It's so much more fun once you figure out how you can be effective in combat.
But the base game is there, and if they get enough subscriptions to keep it running, i'm sure it will be a solid game.
I can also understand that this game is not for everyone, if you are happy with eq/wow style games then thats fine, but I was looking for something different and this game is awesome if you can accept some of the refreshing game concepts.

Also, graphics dont suck.
Yes, totally agree with both of you. I have ordered the game and am looking forward to Thursday.
this game will be played by small popularity. U ask why? Graphs are ugly. You guys say they ain't but maybe its time to clean up your glasses. Game system how it works will only be intrested by some. also those who suck at it will eventually quit it.. Now that u have to do something else than spam 1.
A low budget game cannot be so good that it could beat the scene. Im not saying tcos is bad but its average. Prolly some like it "yeah woot new fighting system just like in aoc!" and the game will die down eventually. Some people who like to read the lore and really really like to read something and then that be the quests may like it... I like more action and don't get boner for reading quests. don't get me wrong im no teenager. im just being realistic and some people can't see the facts. New stuff always fool people.

I agree, except on the graphics, i guess ill keep wearing my dirty glasses, as they make the game look better ^^ A low budget game cannot be so good that it could beat the scene. Depends on what you mean by 'the scene'. I don't think the dev's of this game ever wanted to compete with wow or war. They wanted to create a unique game with an interesting combat system. From what i've seen, they did a good job.
Im not 100% sure on this, but ccp was a small company, but they have managed to create a pretty solid mmo.
I understand what you are saying, for many people this wil be an avarage game. I can't say the overall game is better then average until i've played retail for some weeks, but I think at least the first 10 levels are awesome. So until ive seen the rest, ill give this game a 8.5 on my scale

Gotta agree with you on this one, the characters don't look very good. It's pretty retarded that the uk has to play with the us.

What he said. Although I hated basically all the quests I saw in CB. Didn't like a single one that I did really.
I really don't understand why people don't like the graphics or the sound. The sound was incredible and when put with the stylistic graphics the feeling of the game was outstanding. Much better than anything post WoW.

I think reason behind is quite simple. The legs r way way too tall. Graphs r sharp on edges? even with 8x antialising. It just because it's done on unreal engine that is quite old.

Not many complaints at it didn´t play that long only to lvl5 but they do need a better tutorial for beginner.
Some ppl may like it that way but the game dont get easy just because you have a proper tutorial the one they had was missing some things imo.
Overall graphic was nice dont have to be better looking ok the modells on the humans could use some work. sound was ok nothing special
Quest lore was very nice like that a lot.
Well thats about it hopefully they manage to have proper quest and stuff upp to max lvl with no or as few bugs as possibly.
