Insecure brat. My little nephew always got the girls eye cuz he was a very cute kid. Being a kid a cute can get any female to talk to you unless you don't like kids. Sounds like parents might be trying to get some cash from this kid. Even I was a flurt at the age of 7, even thought I was more into SEGA than getting cooties.
I think the kid is probably linguistically gifted and happens to be an extrovert. Girls find him cute, so he has alot of attention from them of all ages, thus it has allowed him to be comfortable around them. And probably because of that, like any woman will when given a chance, is spill themselves to the first non-judgmental soul about. That soul may happen to be a 9 year old kid.
I'm sure he's picked up quite a bit for a 9 year old, and because he knows how to write quite decently for his age, his parents have urged him to capitalize on it.
Voila, this is born.

"If a mother can kill her own child, what is left before I kill you and you kill me?" -Mother Teresa when talking about abortion after accepting the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979
thsi also made me think of the movie, "Little Manhattan." its a very good movie of love and breakdowns but just like the author of the book, the lead role is a kid. its really funny and at the same time, very inspirational. things viewed in a very simple manner will be more comprehensible and accepted.

No surprise there.
It's not the talking to girls part that gets me, it's getting them to do what you want them to do that I have trouble with (i.e. Make me a sandwich; get me a beer; Get on your knees, etc.). I even add "bitch" to the end of all of my sentences, and they still don't seem to listen. I may end up just getting a bat, that would totally help.
i think it's more of an 'appreciate the author' book than 'appreciate the book' book. the publishing company may just be in it for the money.
besides. maybe it really is just a stepping stone for the kid.. so that when the child grows up, he creates a good book and the cover goes 'the kid who got a book published at 9yearsold' or something like that.
"If I say hi and you say hi back, we're probably off to a good start".
This kid is not only a writer, he's also a jeweler and an auto-mechanic.
I think what we've all learned from this story is that it's easy to pick up women. All you have to do is convince them you haven't hit puberty yet, and there's no way you can get them pregnant. This is much easier to accomplish during conversation than it is during sex.

Sure, kind of goes with women having gay friends or having long-distance or online relationships. They don't have to have any real relationships that way.
The kid does seem to give out a few good advices. Though t he advices mentioned in the article might seems to be no-brainers, it's not all of us who thinks like that during dating and such. Us humans have a tendency to make things more complicated than it really is after all.
Just saying hi and start talking and sharing eachothers interests, experiences and other things helps alot really ;o

That's the thing. This kid is offering advice to the people who don't need it. Women have all the time in the world for men that have no agenda. It's when they realize that men are being patronizing that they shut down. Unless, of course, they just want to get down themselves, then they play along.
Men want a template for how to patronize women for a single nights gain, not how to begin a friendship. Expecting that advice to come from a 9 year old is a bit sickening.

I dunno about you but I don't thin *all* men just want pure one night stands. I'm oretty sure there are those out to get to know the girl and search for long term relationships.

Of course there are. They just aren't buying books to learn how to be themselves.

Ok, I'll say it:
The question is not how to talk to women, but how to get them to stop talking.
If you are not being responded to directly, you are probably on my ignore list.
I read the book -- it's very cute. Good job for a nine-year-old.

Its a 9 year old child.
He probably made some observations about girls that were a bit ahead of his age and the PARENTS jumped all over it.
The parents are running this show, have no doubt.

Hell, the kid gets my props, how often do you hear of a 9yo that gets a book published?
He writes:
"Comb your hair, and don't wear sweats".

That's always the danger. Some of those teachers aren't even ugly, they're pretty good looking. But they're definitely crazy.
I think this kid is a genuis.. the parents should take more extra care of this kid cause he has lots of talen and potentials

Old fashioned 20th century sexism FTW!!!
I think the only ones who speak negatively about this kid and his book may actually need to read his book.
