Not a multi client game?

I haven't really played yet, but I was wondering if this was a game similar to goonzu meaning that people multi clinet, or have multiple accounts?  Is there a point of making another account for a character or is there really no benefit and I can just put all my characters in one account?  Just wondering cause if the game revolves around making multiple character then that could be pretty tedious.

As far as I know, the majority of players I see are running around solo, or in a legitimate party.  I've seen maybe 3 or 4 groups in my travels that looked like someone with multi-client on.  Then again they could just be a legitimate party and just be on follow, as I do it all the time.  The only real benefit to using more than 1 client is that you can party with yourself and you get all the bonuses of being in a party without having to worry about what someone else is doing.  The only problem with multi-clients in Atlantica is that the turns are so fast, I can barely get through my own 5 characters before time runs out.  I couldn't even imagine how you would go through 10 or even 15 characters in the maximum 30 seconds (you only get a maximum of 5 characters to move in a single turn).  Other than if you had an autobattle liscense, but then you only get to autobattle 20 fights a day.  It might be in the design of the game to make it this way, so that you don't have people with multi-clients running around.  I can distinctly remember several games I've played and made friends with people that have enough clients or boxes running to make there own complete party (Fireman on Bahamut in FFXI, you still make me laugh!).  I do actually think though, that Atlantica is designed in such a fast paced manner, that you could only maybe have enough time to do about 8-9, but then you're just mashing buttons and not paying attention, which in the long run will get you killed no matter how many characters you have on the battlefield.

In Short, no there aren't many Mutli-client players in Atlantica Online, and I think it's designed to be that way.

naah. although there is a lot to the multiplayer part of atlantica, it is not necessary to make multiply characters unless of course you want to experience the different lineups. as for me,  i have two characters on the same server and the other one i use to store items so my inventory will cleanup a bit.

i personally enjoy the multi-client scheme. i get to level up my other character without playing it. just set it for a LDP and let it sit in one place. hahahah! you'll soon see that it will reach higher levels without doing any quests. lol!

I've successfully had 4 clients running on 1 computer, 5th one usually works for 10 mins then crashes or slows down too much. It was mainly to get around some of the restrictions in place (box opening limit, requiring 10 people in your friends list to complete quests (I don't have that many legit friends in game) and having to spend $15/$30 for more inventory space).

Now i'm quite content with just 1 client and just not over doing it (I was playing 5 hours a day!). Great game though, personally I find it quite addictive. Item Mall is ruining the ingame economy though due to items being tradable.

I have 3 accounts for the same reason, more friends, but I just run 2 at the same time. helps also on getting  the share info title quest done quicker if you can not find someone to send monster info to.

Also while  in a party you get experience books, so another advantage there

Goto your Atlantica install directory and run Atlantica.exe not the AtlanticaRun.exe (AtlanticaRun.exe is the one run from the desktop shortcut). This bypasses the patcher so make sure the game client is upto date.

I have 2 installs of the game, one main which has maxed graphics and settings I want on. The 2nd install has the minimum settings which allows me to run them well at the same time. I run all clients (well, did) in windowed mode.

but this depends on your computer. . some computers cant do this haha.. and also, if you are doing multiple client, i think you should use a different account when playing it in the same server... i tried it once with the same account and server, and the other one automatically logged out and says theres a possibility that my account is getting hacked haha

Careful complaining about this game. I've been threatened with banning for doing just that. Evidently the company that runs this site has money coming into them from Atlantica. That should tell you why there is a highly inflated user rating for one.

By the way, I have told you guys by all means ban away. :)
