Newspaper claims suspect transformed into a goat

LAGOS, Nigeria – One of Nigeria's biggest daily newspapers reported that police implicated a goat in an attempted automobile theft. In a front-page article on Friday, the Vanguard newspaper said that two men tried to steal a Mazda car two days earlier in Kwara State, with one suspect transforming himself into a goat as vigilantes cornered him.
The paper quoted police spokesman Tunde Mohammed as saying that while one suspect escaped, the other transformed into a goat as he was about to be apprehended.
The newspaper reported that police paraded the goat before journalists, and published a picture of the animal.
Police in the state couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Belief in black magic is widespread in Nigeria, particularly in far-flung rural areas.

You tell your boss you got the guy, but only after he transformed himself into a goat. Closed case. Great police work, you got your man....errr....'scape goat.

At the very least they should have claimed he transformed himself into a swarm of locusts and flew away. That is a far better story.

This story happened last year in Nigeria
A group of people in Nigeria attacked a woman when they became convinced that she had transformed from a cat into a person after being struck by a motorcycle.
The woman allegedly told the crowd that she, while in cat form, and two other cats were in the area to kill three people.
One of the cats was killed in the frenzy, the other cat escaped and the woman was rescued by police

What's the big deal here? Sounds perfecly feasible to me. Happens all the time. Sometimes when I'm at work and I want to get away from the madness and the chaos, I'll turn into a squirrel and make my way into the ducts between the walls and zip around from room to room just to see what else is going on. Man it's a blast. It can also be dangerous, though. Once in a while I'll get a craving for some of the food in the rat traps that have been placed by the Orkin man, but then I remember, "Whoa, there's poison in those traps." You see, when my brain is turned into a squirrel's brain, my thinking gets a little clouded.
now i wonder.. if he really has that skill to turn himself into a goat.. he will be rich hahaha.. just continue to steal and transform to escape...
Where does he put the loot he stole when he transforms into a goat?
Say he stuffs a blue-ray player in his trousers, then transforms.....
Awesome skill, but useless unless he finds a way to stow loot on his goat.
really. how could this be possible? maybe its just all a hoakes.
Most likely a hoax, although it is nice to let your mind wonder and think what if this is real and people can do this in everyday life?
