european servers

Im just wondering when it gets released in Europe if Europeans will get there own servers????, I really do hope so because it would suck everyone getting months ahead of us, Just would not be fare on us to be honest.

    sorry it was meant for wow section, yeah i will be playing eq 2 aswel, was just curious.

    I cannot agree with this. Blizzard has provided a very good and stabile game servers in europe. Even in three languages - English, French and German. And you dont need to worry about that americans will have some advantage, coz Wow in Europe runs on different servers and are completely separated from US version. Even now when American closed beta ended, the european is just in its first stage.. So when it comes out in Europe, everyone will have equal chances.

    Agreed.

    The European beta just started, doesn't mean you won't get the same amount of people/game time to play.

    Its a game not a contest.  I really dont understand why it makes a difference.  I guess I am one who plays for fun, not to get a high level before everyone else does.

    i didnt mean to come across as being a competition, just i prefer to start when everyone else does, make the world feal more fresh then.

    Estimated time for WoW is Feb 2005.Might get pushed sooner like SWG got pushed like a month earlier then stated for europe.

    You can import the WoW from North America whoever you need a USA billing address unlike CoH and SWG which let you use a local address as long as your credit card is international like a mastercard or visa.

    There is a simple way round it but I highly don't recommend it for the sake of any computer game.

    As for the question on the european server I guess it will be early next year.

    Ye about the servers, i only have one problem. Blizzard is forcing you to play on the servers in your region, so i cant play with my euro friends. I really do hope they fix this, or id lose alot of respect for blizz. No other company has this problem.

    wow isnt on my games list

    i will play eq2 and GW for pvp

    blizzarw will have nuff money without me

    Well blizzard said they will address the issue of US/Europe servers  been able to cross play.

    But AFTER the european release which is where the problem lies.

    Basically you have friends in europe but they have to wait 3 months before bying the game.So essentially even by the time they make cross server playable the US players will be far ahead of his european friends.

    I think this was poorly thought thru.SoE  did it the smart way when it comes to marketing its product.

    Yea, im hoping they fix this problem to. Tho i herd most anxiuos euro's will get a US imported version and lets their american friends pay for them. They should make it like the battle.net servers.
