What's the first thing you are going to do?
When Darkfall comes out and if it actually turns out to be a good game and playable with no game halting bugs, what is the first thing you plan on doing?
For me personally, I would like to get caught up in pvp. I want to play a kind of bandit/pirate role and staulk people for their loot. I think it would be really fun to have a group of people to organize assaults with and later here about the infamous feats all over the forums. Thats why I im still hoping this game succeeds.
Im also thinking it would be fun to play a kind of protector role for friends. Sort of like the one dude in the guild who collects bounties on other players then takes a screen shot only to post it the next day online....yea, that would be fun.

If I am wrong this will be the first time in the last 5 years of game releases....everyone makes a mistake now and then and my time should be up but I feel pretty confident that I will get the last laugh and have more popcorn.

Gnomad you are such a typical troll. Ignoring what the thread is about and instead just saying THE SAME THING THATS BEEN POSTED REPEATEDLY THIS WHOLE MONTH. I'm going to run around looking for someone to PvP. When I find someone, I'll kite them with my bow for an hour or two. Then I'll let them finish me and then laugh to myself as they look into my pack and see nothing but noob items to loot.

Why? It will be better than 90% of the MMORPG's out there, there is not many MMORPG's out there though, mostly MMO's called MMORPG's.

Why? It will be better than 90% of the MMORPG's out there, there is not many MMORPG's out there though, mostly MMO's called MMORPG's.
Why not choose one of those 10% thats equal or better and out there already?
First thing I will do is wait a month or 2 before the real reviews are showing. If those real reviews are still good then I might give the game a try. Depending if I found something else thats taking up my time already.
I'll be exploring and trying to find the best areas for collecting mats to start crafting. I won't engage in PvP unless absolutely necessary - there should be a big market for weapons/armour with the game being full loot, and I'd rather be a part of that.
Ahh good idea, but you gotta figure that people will discover the best place to gather mats and begin massive ganking. That is where the backup "protector" party comes in. It happened all the time in WoW, I imagine it will happen here aswell.

If you want to do crafting, I think finding a good size clan is important. Skilling up crafting will be expensive and difficult to solo.

When Darkfall finally manages to launch I will gather all the tangible disappointment from all the players and use it to craft a giant statue of Tasos Flambouras running away to the Caribbean with bulging bags of preorder money in the middle of every major city in Agon. Then I'll paint them with my own tears of regret at having wasted precious time downloading the free game preview client that may or may not even exist.
