Even when I was involved it was just another day to the 2 of us. I didn't think it right to just pick one day out of the year to show my affection. I did it throughout the year, on a daily basis.

slept in till 9AM, ate breakfast, went to work to prepare/clean smoke/water damaged pictures from a house that had a bad fire, read some web comics, did some homework, then went to bed.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
Woke up with a fever and a sore throat, went to work at 10am, got off work at 11pm, came home and took a lukewarm shower because our water heater sucks, tried to get drunk but gave up, went to bed. My life is such a black abyss.

That's because you're doing it all wrong.
For me sleeping in was sleeping and waking up all on my own after about 10 hours of solid sleep. This was especially true on Saturdays when I've been working all week long and finally can afford the time to not worry about anything.

well, mine was just fine.my gf had to work, and we ended-up odering pizza. nothing special but at least were together.
