To all the DF naysayers think of EVE

EVE is basically the same concept, wars, full loot PVP, hardcore PVP, but its slow, it feels like half the time I am playing a screen saver rather than a game. there really is NO pve and really nothing to explore.
Yet it maintains a very very high player base and the server stays packed. While DF may not have better graphics it offers all this, faster game play, twitch base combat, complete exploration of very unique lands and what not, and good PVE. If it can maintain the success and playerbase EVE has, I will be very happy.

I would play it but it's point and click.
Same concept but vastly different worlds and mechanics.

LMFAO he said good PVE I like this guy hes got a good sense of humor.
The difference between DF and Eve is that the people running Eve have been fairly open, reliable, and competent. When one dev got out of line the situation was handled very well. They are a pretty good bunch and the game shows it. DF on the other hand has none of those advantages. They are secretive, arrogant, petty, and incompetent.
Thats the difference between the games and the communities. Sticking with Eve until Earthrise gets its chance is a no brainer.
