Stoner guild, anybody in?
Well I was just wondering if there are stoners like me out there, that sometimes just like to walk around exploring stuff, and just hanging out in a game. This doesn't mean we won't pvp or advance in the game. We would just chill alot, and explore the game at our own pace. We could have a teamspeak/ventrilo were we could have fun stoner convo's while we explore or do some pvp/pve in darkfall.
Ofcourse there would be an age policy, dunno maybe around 18+ but it's possible to make some exceptions if they are chill enough, I'm not saying mature because thight up people that just want to progress as fast as possible would find us a bit slower 
So chillness is probably going to be th most important factor for applicants.
For names I was thinking: Up in smoke -> Based on the legendary cheech and chong movie, or some other name we can think of later.
We would probably be a close knit group of people, with the same intrests mostly and won't have like 50+ members online or something.
So I was just wondering if anybody has interest in this and maybe we can talk it over. We got some time it's not like it has to be created directly when the game launches, it would be cool though, but not that likely since it's kinda hard finding enough members for this type of guild^^
I also play D&D pnp ofcourse, so I love roleplay, so if you guys are into that we could work a bit around that. But if you're not no problem, it's doesn't have to.

So people in your guild have to be on drugs? Or can they pretend to be fucked out of their brains?
Other guilds will enjoy meeting members of the stoner guild. While they are all standing around staring dreamily at the sky or at each other, other guilds will be able to steam roll right through them, slaughter them all, steal all their stuff and be off into the distance before the stoners can even react. Then the stoners will scratch their heads in confusion as they have totally forgotten what just happened and will go back to staring at the sky again.
I hear that there are very few computer controlled monsters in DF. Maybe the Stoner guild can provide a substitute until more monsters get added
no terrible idea. we'd never get anything done. stoners have to mingle into normal guilds and hope no-one notices/cares
its worked for me for 10years no reason others cant do it.
nah i think the real reason is because almost all mmo players i know are stoners. (or are most stoners also by way of motivation mmo players?)
Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. Whining about a game you hate but still play is hardcore man!

I'm not forcing anyone to do drugs or anything, if you don't do ganja you probably wouldn't want to join.
But I just know there are fellow stoners out there who just like me sometimes just want to chill out and wan't to talk about stupid stuff on vent or in chat, and in some normal guilds that isn't quite possible. I just want to create a home for those people.
I'm sorry if I in some way was a bit to direct about the drug thingie, I'm not forcing anything on anyone. I just sometimes forget that in other places it isn't such a normal thing. I'm from Belgium, and live like 15 mins from the Netherlands and here it's just as common as alcohol, everybody done it atleast. And there is just more openess when talking about it.
And sure we could get things done, it's not like we would be baked 24/7. I used to be in high end raid guilds in several mmo's even hardcore pvp guilds. But sometimes you just want a break from it.
Actually despite my earlier post I dont really have anything against getting stoned. I used to do it loads myself. Its a shame people cant be more liberal about it like you are in Belgium because there really isnt anything wrong with it. Its only because people have been brainwashed into thinking that because the law says no then it must be bad. These laws get passed by people who know nothing about what they are restricting. These same people pass laws which say it is legal to smoke cigarettes and give yourself lung cancer or drink alchohol and rot your liver away. If I was walking down a deserted street late at night I would much rather meet a bunch of stoned people than a bunch of drunk people. In fact the stoners would probably feel more paranoid than anyone else lol. Alchohol generally brings out the worst in people and is responsible for a lot of violent crime.......in fact its quite a common thing to hear guys over here jokingly refer to a pint of stella as a pint of "the old wife beater".

I don't like alcohol or tobacco, despite the legality. The legality isn't my issue with recreational drugs; it's the drugs themselves. Sorry for not being as "liberal" as you want people to be.
As for trolling, I just never imagined this would be an allowed topic on the site. I don't remember seeing a disclaimer, and drug use has often warranted a disclaimer or an age check on sites and games.

on a side note: All videos I have seen of this game is just running around trying to kill a player, there is nothing else to this game.
