It's been the 26th for a while over the pond. The world doesn't revolve around the States you know.
the pond....is where the release date is...which I have read over and over...was GMT (sorry....US time wins again)
and it isn't the 26th.....still
thanks
Wow... the US public school system pwns all, don't it?
Perhaps one should look up what GMT is?
As a US citizen, I am officially embarrassed.
lol...yeah yer right....
(had my time on this site set wrong......I is a moron)
still...3 and half hours? And yer whining?
maybe I'm not the only moron here....ok....I'm sure I have a lot of company here.....
I am not whining about DF's release, or lack thereof. I was simply stunned about the lack of knowledge about the world's timezones showed in this post.
That said, it does appear Aventurine is struggling here. Frankly, if they need to take the time to launch the game right, they should take the needed time.
Where they are going wrong, in my opinion, is in the lack of release information and updates that should be given to their players; especially to those who have actually pre-ordered. Such would go a long way to stifle concerns and any such "whining", or gloating if you hate DF.
well instead of not reading, you could have read one of the other tons of posts about the game already. dont be lazy.
That's a great question to ask and also, did not notice any threads in the main page asking if the game released. You could link the various other threads that discuss release issues don't be lazy thanks.
anyway, i'm still looking forward to this game.one day, it will come out. i'm also playing other mmorpg. the perfect world's picture looks awesome. and shadow of legend, a free online game, lots to do, whether adventuring or crafting, and the game has a lot of areas to explore. the open pvp is very funny.

I am pretty much with you. Darkfall has a lot of promise, but in its current state it is not the game for me.
My problem is I tend to not realize that MMO's are works in progress and I apply criteria to MMO's that should only be applied to console or single player releases. Still, I am cautious, for other MMO titles have burned me before.
Six months from now, I can easily see myself playing and enjoying it. But first, Aventurine has to survive the cut-throat climate and situation they are in right now. Not much to do right now but wait and see.
