Unfortunately this is about as meaningful as a mmo developer citing '1 million characters created' when citing subscription numbers. So the real number is defnitely a lot smaller.
But grats.. I guess.

Well, any site that has 1 million unique accounts is certainly doing very well, and it's a nice, measurable milestone. You can take the actual number with a grain of salt, but to deny that this is a mark of success... that's just thick headed. Go get an A&W rootbeer IMO.
Congrats MMORPG.com!

Grats MMORPG.COM...love this site. The recent DFO drama has been better than anything on TV! (guess that's not saying much...but I still love this site!)

Oh, yes, gratz! And if you reckon the amount of time people spend on here it doesn't do worse than some of those AAA mmorpg's out there. You guys better start charging 15 bucks a months, hehe:
"MMORPG .COM is a web based, full text mmo centered around free for all pvp between the 'fanboy' and 'hater' factions of many online roleplaying games. Combat is resolved in fierce text battles in the numerous battleboards of our 'forum' section. Players can issue their own challenges by posting their own 'threads' or head over to do combat in one posted by another player. You are also able to team up with faction members to invade the battleboard of a competing faction for truly epic wars over a myriad of to be released online games.
MMORPG.COM favors both newbies with only a slight grasp of the English language, as well as verbal veterans. Foul language and random insults, often with referring to one's opponent's mother are the weapons of choice for those without much experience in this type of mmorpg. More advanced players can opt to use sophisticated, but deadly weapons like 'sarcasm' or 'bitter irony' to verbally humiliate their adversaries. Always be aware, however, that your fight must be fair, take it one step too far and you will have to deal with the GM's who might, or might not be in a mood for banhammering your bum.

Gratz MMORPG.COM on 1 MILLION
Congrats, indeed! I was just looking at the number changing from 1,000,007 to 1,000,008. Not sure if admins are around at this time to see it though.
Gratz indeed!
Lets use the frase I heared alot in the EvE boards..
There are alot of alt accounts!
I sometimes have the feeling that I am the only one with 1 account here.
even so alot of these users are new here due to darkfall release
I only have one account.
I can't help but feel people were making lots of alt accounts over night to be the number one million
Gratz
Grats to mmorpg.com

They could have never done it w/o all the DF fanbois and their many alt accounts.

Torrential: DAOC (Pendragon)
Awned: World of Warcraft (Lothar)
Torren: Warhammer Online (Praag)
I posted about this. I predicted it would happen today.
A special big thanks to the 3 of you who have something positive to say.
