If u like exploits, bugs and beeing ignored as a customer i can strongly recoment joining aoc.

AOC might think they have an exelent siege system and guess it is if u dont mind cheeting and exploiting to win a game (and live with buggs ) ATM the onely way to win a siege is to exploit and learn to use the bugs for what they are worth.

Another tip would be dont bother asking GM's for help cause

    Appears the game was so bad, that the poster perished in mid-sentence.  Conan claims another victim.

     i hated aoc when i played it, got to end-game and all...had a nice big clan. game sucked. was a big lie, false advertising by the developers involved if you ask me. i hear its gotten better, but theres no way im giving whatever company was involved in producing that game my money again. screw them. i should get a refund as a matter of fact.

    Since release, AoC has had a huge amount of bug fixes and such. Also your spelling/grammar is terrific. Keep it up!

    I grew bored with it shortly after Tortage.  I felt like the game was just going to go downhill from there.

    reading through this thread, seems a lot of players are against AOC.

    alright, if there actually being so many bugs, exploits, etc, accordingly, it has most space to improve itself.

     /agree with OP,  I played this game with the early access and I must say it was fun for like a couple days then it was just a pain dealing with bugs and huge memory leaks and just a grind once you hit like lvl 40 or 50 plus no end game and running dungeons was so simple.  Your healer prolly could have fallen asleep in dungeon and everyone would have been fine.  I tried playing it again a few months ago and it was a little better with bugs and i didn't have a huge memory leak anymore but the customer service is horrid and i suggest you stay away from this game and funcom.

    Conan = fail.

    I like your post except for one thing, you said you played the game with early access...so on launch?  How long has it been since then, and how many things do you think they've fixed? I mean they cant just leave a game that gimped, however I have not played (dont have a good enough computer sadly).  Although I would like to atleast try it :)

    I believe the game launched on may 20th of 2008 and early access was like 3 days before that.  So it's been almost a year now and I couldn't tell you everything they've fixed but you could go to the webpage and look at the patch notes if you really want to know.  I know they have supposedly added more end game, fixed graphical glitches, massive pvp issues, player class issues, quest bugs, client and server crashes, etc, etc.  I really don't want to discourage you from trying the game, like i said they have fixed alot of issues and it's alot more stable now.  To me though it just didn't do it for me,  it was like the whole game was built around the combat system as if the game itself was an after thought.  To me the combat is fun at first but then it wears off on you after a little while and you realize it's just as repetitive as timed combat.  The pvp is much better than the pve, so if you like pvp i would def. at least try it out.  My main problem with release is it felt like i was paying 50$ plus 15$ a month to beta test.  Well if you ever get your computer upgraded you should at least give it a try, this is just my opinion and there are quite a few people who really like the game.

    -cheers
