My end build would be Staff Main, Witch, Monk, Oracle, Beast Trainer, Archer, Exorcist, Lady Knight and I'm still deciding whether or not I would keep my sword or my axe because I can't decide who would be more efficient. Right now my Viking is really easy to kill but they say when it becomes a Northern Viking eventually it's defense will increase. If it evens up to the defense of my sword or it gets close enough to it I will keep my Viking and replace my sword with Lady Knight.
Currently I have the Gunner for my main for fast leveling and the rest of my line up is as is, I'm just planning on adding the Lady Knight in to my party because of the Light Slash and Vortex combo. Besides the Lady Knight and the sword has the same defense.
I'm 93, right now I've got
Sword/ BT / Viking
Axe (m)/ Witch/ Prophet
? / Shaman / Monk
In the ? spot I rotate an Archer, Gunner, Artillery Dude and Exorcist.
I don't know what to do when I can get the Lady Knight. Replace my sword guy? Put her in the ? spot.
She doesn't seem that necessary for PvE (yet), but I guess would be nice in PvP (as is the Exorcist). Though I'm likely never going to hit Div 1, so I'm not going to put a great deal of effort into getting a decent PvP build.
R.I.P. City of Heroes and my 17 characters there
Put LK in BT spot.. you have enuff axe damage with 2 Vikings, and ur not Aoe build so u wont really use summon as much, Witch is normally just used to scroll/drain anyways so there is not much aoe there.
Sad to say melee builds arent the best way to go on pvp right now.

what is the best build for a sword main?
I have a couple of builds I use (yay for maximum perm merc lisc lol)
The one I use mostly is for my guild dungeons, as that's really the only one I fight with in pve.
Lady Knight / Spartan / Beast Trainer
Northern Viking / Cannoneer / Witch
Cannon(main) / Inventor / Jannisary
With this build I am the AoE damage specialist, stunning and dealing damage to all mobs is my priority. I only use this build while partying with my guildmates in dungeons, one of whom has 2 shaman and a oracle for healing the other 2. Also works decent in Nation wars.
Solo PvE
Lady Knight / Spartan / Northern Viking
Cannoneer / Cannon(main) / Artillery
Witch / Oracle / Monk
This build is for dealing great AoE damage while soloing in PvE. I rarely solo anymore, but I use Seth's Will on my middle row, which does insane damage.
PvP
Lady Knight / Spartan / Beast Trainer
Northern Viking / Cannoneer / Monk
Monk / Cannon(main) / Shaman
This build is great against stun and magic builds. The meaty front row almost never dies due to the awakening spam. Incase my main gets sniped I can always do noble sacrifice with my shaman.
Is Beast Trainer good in PVP? I think it's damage is useless when your fighting against lvl 110 and up. What do you think?
