Highest lvl u came to meet in WoW?

in World of Warcraft
not sure about u guys but i pretty much powergamed n only made like lvl 25 just wondering if you know anyone who made it further, if so any ideas how they did? so i can do it on release! hehe

    I was around lvl 15 with 3 chars, but I cant say I met more then 2 mid 50's in the game image

    The highest level I saw on Alliance on Test 2 was a level 53 rogue. On horde, it was me, Gluk, a level 46 Orcish warlock. At least on Test 2 there seemed to be a dramatic gap between the Horde and Alliance in terms of levels.

    EDIT: I started playing during the Final Stress Test and pretty much power leveled to level 46, after that I spent more time exploring and doing fun quests like bringing Tooga the tortoise back to his wife Torga and escorting a gnomish mechanical chicken to a safe launching area.

    To the OP. If you want to truly power level, the fastest way to do it is to to just run through all the quests that are easy (green) to you at the moment, either alone or in a two or three man team. This is much faster than just grinding by killing mobs, and a lot funner as well. The key tactic here is to complete the quests as fast as possible, even if it means skipping mobs or chests. This is just my $0.02, and the "true power gamers" might have a different opinion, but I have to say that had I power gamed just to gain levels, I would have been there in the mid 50s as well. The thing is, there were only 3 post level 40 horde players on stress 2, 2 from our guild, and had I grinded as fast as I could have, I would have had to do everything solo, which is not very fun.

    Ive made it to 34 with playing half the time my gf's char too which made it to 33 nearly 34. Had blacksmith & mining 200+ and first aid 150. Highest on my server (test 13) on the alliance was Aku lvl 44 hunter and on horde 48 rogue (as far as I was know).

    Anyone here played test13? =)

    I played 2 characters to 15 and 17 and alot of others to around 10 to get a little feel of the different
    classes. I forced myself not to keep playing on my highest, because i dident want to spoil the fun at retail.

    on test 19 highest i saw was a 29 human mage i didnt powerlvl my hunter(got only 19) because i tested all classes to lvl 10 to find out wich is most fun

    Well, Tuesday I decided to take my 16 GNome Rogue to the Barrens and snipe some people out. Too bad they had to attack me first. But my kills racked up quickly and I got 43 kills before the raiding began on Thursday. I started a NE Priest and got to level....9 or 10. Then on Thursday everyone was headed to Booty Bay to go to the Horde where I had left my Rogue. I switched characters and spawned in the middle of the war. I saw that a lot of Horde players were in their 20s and a lot had ?? for levels. I tired grouping with people but no one wanted to group with me. I saw a 35 Human Paladin and a 38 I think Dwarven Hunter. FUn fun indeed though.

    In OB I made it to lvl 16 warrior and the highest level I saw was 20-something in Lakeshire. I don't remember seeing any real high levels, because I would have stopped and talked to them (in awe). image

    Ah okay, so alot of you guys carried on over from Stress Test and even Closed Beta to Open Beta? just wondering how u guys hit so high.. and if you did carry over or? i mean the highest lvl i saw in OB was like 29 and if you try to powergame like me, that stuff really pee's you off but keeps you going when you see someone a few lvls higher than ya ;)

    I actually came across a lvl 35 Human Mage in the final hour of the beta.  There was an alliance raid on the crossroads and we pushed them back.  I fired the killing arrow!! :)

    I met a lvl 50 druid (horde) the last day of beta. When there were somewhere near 70 horde outside of astranaar.

    I made it to lvl 14 with my Tauren Shaman. Dang he was soooo cool, I even killed a lvl 17 shamen with him. Yea, that was fun. ::::28::

    During Wed night raids saw quite a few 40-45's, one guild (Vis Maior?? i think) Had 5 or so people lvl 40-45 and they all had mounts ::::06:: also saw a few horde with mounts even the new Tauren mount (Kodo)

    I came to lvl 15 pala, but i've played all races and most classes to at least lvl 10. this was in Open Beta
    To bad it's down now, I need to wait till EU release, 18. Feb 2005... and I will pre-order it when it starts at 26. nov. I can't wait!!!

    I was only 37 on the same server, and I agree the gap between horde and alliance levels was sad : (

    Lv19 Night Elf Rogue, Lv 5 Night Elf Hunter and my son had a Lv 10 Tauren Warrior all on Test 10....now we're bored silly and can't wait til Tuesday...please hurry!

    Heh, Mythster, some good times we had in the OB. Hope we end up on the same server for retail. =)
