Anyone in EU/UK importing?

I've got my order placed with Importmadness.co.uk with 5-7 day shipping. So here's to hoping it's shipped today/tomorrow and comes in 5 days! 
Oh and to those asking about how will I get past server localisation: Gamecards.

Im about sure they are NOT going to do anything about IPs. Also Im sure its other companies like Vivendi which required Blizzard to seem to be harsh on the system but I really doubt that Blizzard is going to refuse MORE MONEY! Blizzard is only pretending they are going to check that & that so Vivendi can relax ....
Anyway, Ive done the same but imported from a german website....if I knew about importmadness earlier I would have ordered from them =/
/me orders pre-order package for ~15 max, plays on european closed beta for at least one month, waits a bit for EU release, plays it at release, gets sent to a clinic for game addiction because of concerned friends, rehabilitates, starts playing WoW again "casually" and in secret
I am getting a copy shipped from Gamestop, hopefully. Blizzard will hopefully allow Euro credit cards, if not I'm going to have to look into how to get these games cards.

Youve got to have an american credit card which is based at an american address. Id guess gamecards will help on first point but not on second.I've yet to see gamecards for sale in UK anyway but maybe you can import them or something,maybe there is a store somewhere that sells them which would be cool.
Blizzard sold rights to WoW server farms hosting in europe etc and the company running that get euro WoW money. Blizzard wont allow (they stated in beta this several times) euro accounts ie: Bought in europe FOR europe servers in Feb ,to be used on American servers as this would take money away from euro company.
Unless they change this then it seems like a lot of players will have to play without their friends.
On IP banning .They wont . They have stated that americans who have home address etc in states but are maybe for example in armed forces and away from home,will be able to play but to expect some lag or as they put it you wont be playing the game to the best of its ability etc because of the distance. So no they wont ban IPs according to them.
Sadly the whole cc business is a crock of shit.They are letting New Zealand and Australia play on yank servers ,so they can handle diffrent country cards etc.
The only problem I've ever heard on this topic from Blizzard is that the US billing department cannot handle EU credit cards. So, if you have a source of gamecards, all the power to you.

Yes, pretty much the situation is that you cannot use Credit Cards (maybe even PayPal?) outside of the US since you need a US Billing Address.
Here's my solution:
1. Import the game
2. Import game cards (can get them from importmadness.co.uk as well, but not til the 29th) and
3. Sign up for my account using the address of a relative in Canada
Easy.
Honestly though, if I actually live in EU full time, I wouldn't go through this hassle to be on the US servers. They said they'll drop the restrictions a few months after the worldwide releases are done. The only reason I'm doing it is because I actually live in The Bahamas, which is in the Eastern Time Zone. I don't wanna be stuck playing in GMT when I'm there because Blizzard doesn't recognize, and thus doesn't allow billing from, my home country.
So this will have to be the plan for me....
i gonna laugh so hard and pee my pants if the game card solution doesn't work.
I.e they need a CC just to do a check of identity like most other games :P.

Anyway, there was a Dev post on the official forums (before they were wiped post-beta) that when using Gamecards you DON'T need a valid credit card to activate it. Seriously though...think about that a sec. If you really needed a CC to validate identity, even when using gamecards, what would be the point of using gamecards? They are a solution exclusively for persons without CCs.
I played City of Heroes solely from Gamecards and was never onced asked for any credit card information at anytime. I imagine it'll be much the same. It's too exclusive to require one, since a large portion of the customer base (I'm pretty sure) will not be old enough for a CC, or not a financially stable enough position to hold one (ie students etc).
I am entertaining this option as well...but my worries with this lie in the fact that when you create a PayPal account you have to sign up and provide an address and whatnot. If this is not in North America, it may inhibit you from paying via this method.
Still, noone knows exactly yet if it will or will not work for those outside the US. I suppose we'll find out soon enough.

You can't cry me a river or anything if it doesn't work cause you knew that it was a longshot. What if blizzard didn't let you play and you had bought it and spent a fair bit of cash on it?.
Also are you gonna fake your billing details or primary address details too?. You know in some countires thats considered fraud.

I tend to agree, You guys are doing somthing your not supposed to.. You should just wait till it comes out in your country because Fraud is fraud and submitting fraudulent information is a crime.. Youve waited this long you can wait a little longer.. Personally I don't like having people from other countries on the servers I play on.. Trying to understand their poor english and other stuff is quite bothersome.. Also i hate it when you join a guild that uses teamspeak and there is people with such insane accents that its allmost impossible to desipher what they are saying in "english"... This is not a hate post, just my opinion and I'm sure alot of other people feel the same way.

Weird, unless you were playing on the western servers......Im from england and had a nice green lagmeter *shrugs
And about the language...Im sure you will find a damn lot of ppl who live in america and talk 10x worse than most europeans
They wont ban foreign IP's. They dont care if some EU's/Asians join the US servers. Use Proxy, Use PayPal, GTC... noone cares. The only one who cares is the EU publisher...

I played closed US Beta. (they wont check IP's in game, but perhaps @ account activation, proxy alarm)

Well I'm from the uk and my English is just fine. If I may offer you some advice; Please learn to spell and to word things correctly before you cast doubts on other peoples command of a language.

Sorry I know that was uncalled for but what you appear to forget is that Europe has many different languages and it is usually the English speakers that wish to play on American servers for that very reason.
