What do you play when your mmo is not on?

Just wondering what other's are playing when your mmo is offline, for whatever reason. Or maybe when your simply bored with it an need a lil break. Right now I'm playing Oblivion , GTA 4, and since its NBA playoff time I've also been playing some NBA 2k8.

I sleep. WoW's maintenance is six to eight hours long. The average adult human needs six to eight hours of sleep. That's not a coincidence.

Never was really into shooter's much, been playing SF4 for my pvp fix.
I work during downtime.
If im lucky enough to be off in the middle of the week I play CS:S , L4d or TF2... bascially one of the Valve shooters or mods.
Playing: EvE, Ryzom
I play a few games when not MMOing including
1) Race 07 - Touring car racing sim, online, grids can be up to 24 players.
2) Company Of Heroes - WW2 RTS.
3) Shooters mainly COD - World at War and Modern Warfare.
Checking if there's any good documentry out there, mostly in you-tube.... /sign..
Really wonder why WoW servers have to be down almost every tuesday, been 4 years yet they can't find a soulution?
Side track abit, whats are they really doing during maint (minus after patch day)? De-frag?

I suspect it's pretty standard Database maintenance stuff... Re-indexing tables, clearing down log files, doing a full back-up. That sort of thing.
You'd be surprised how long these things take.

Yeah Eve comes down ever day for an hour for maintance as well.
Usually just take that time and get busy on my homework. I take 15 units in college right now About 22 hours a week outside of class goes to studying for Math alone..I just suck at math. So I'm never out of things to do. Study math or Do other homework.
If I dont have to do homework I do have Exteel, Guild wars, and other games like Europa Universalis III and Mirrors edge or Empire total war. Lots of stuff in my pc I can play when FFXI is down.

I usually play XBOX 360. I'll play a game of hockey or something to pass the time.

when my mmo isnt on, i dont play anything at all.. im a really casual gamer, so gameing for me is just for relaxing and think about something else than daily life, and its mostly as an alternative to watching tv.
What do you mean when my MMO is not on? You say that as though sometimes my MMO is not on. I've never seen a time when Guild Wars was down, even for routine maintenance. I think that they do take some servers down for maintenance at off-peak times, but stagger them so as to be invisible to players.
Okay, so I'm not playing Guild Wars at the moment and haven't in months, but I'm not playing any other MMO at the moment, either.

WOW is too good to play anything else even when it is unavailable? How can you stand to only grind dailies for two hours a day? And you only raid once a week? My goodness but you do have will power.
I play many games so if it happens that my favourite mmo is down like atlantica is now for patching I play something else or chat with people.
Atlantica forums are always a good laugh when the games down

Been without a mmorpg for quite some time since theres only sh*t on markets currently. I'm playing Trials 2, 7.62 High Calibre and Drakensang while waiting for Jumpgate Evolution and Black Prophecy.
Thought of picking up Drakensang. I have the original NWN, Titan Quest, Stalker and Lost Planet loaded so if my MMO flavor of the week is down i keep busy.
