Title sums it up. I've played Eve in the past but quit due to time constraints and boredom. I was in eve university last time I played but there wasn't really enough PVP to suit my tastes. The unfortunate flipside is I have no alt toons and my main income source is L4 missions. So I'd like to come back but I was wondering if there are any corps out there that operated on the edge of high and low sec. I'm excited about all the new changes with wormholes and the like though and they seem to have made many optimizations.
tl;dr: Should I come back to eve?

Well, most FW corps function between High and Low sec, so they have High sec for their L4s, and Low sec for their pewpew. Also, FW is usually pretty cheap on ships, as most of the time you'll be flying T1 frigs/dessies/cruisers, and sometimes T2 frigs, and the relativly rare BS/BC.
So if you join a good FW corp, thats more interested in PvP'ing than boring old plexing, then I'm sure you'll have lots of fun. You'll run missions once every week or 2 for income and the rest of your time should be spent flying in low sec shooting WTs.
Pretty casual, pretty laid back, pretty fun if you ask me
EDIT: Also with the exploration revamp, WH access is pretty easy, just be careful, its 0.0 and delayed local. In my corp, we occasionaly get 4-5 ppl and jump into a WH and get a kill on a juicy target with plenty of cargo, so it adds a bit of "yarr" to your PvP activities, and you dont have to worry about sec hit!

lol..you'd be fine in the Uni now..hell they get wardecced every 5 minutes..theres like 4 corps riding their arse right now in fact.
Yeah I no longer have access to the member forums since I've been inactive, but I was reading the public stuff, and apparently Sabre A has got all pissy and is getting his revenge on the uni by blowing up their pos?
yeah, plus he's got spies galore embedded into the Uni, rather pointless if you ask me...kinda like playing chess by yourself lol.
I stick to the trade hubs and make money...but its still fun to watch.
I love the drams you get in EvE and the comradre you get in decent small Corps.
And yes you should return the Rookie experience is better than ever and the the rest of the game is polished to almost perfection [in my opinion].
