Anyone else not like Perfect World?

Not out to argue or persuade anyone to not play Perfect World. I just found the game utterly unentertaining personally. It is very slowwww and clunky feeling and the combat was beyond boring.
It seems like the game is quite popular though despise my own opinion of it. So just wondering if I am the one person in the world who would rate Perfect World a 1 or 2/10 or if there are others out there that don't like it?

I have exactly the same opinion, mate.
The flying was awesome, and the mounts are very cool. All the graphics are very nice, etc. But it's the gameplay, I know what you mean about the slow clunkyness.

While Perfect World has it's faults, it is far too reliant on the cash shop for pvp and transportation, I still enjoy it. But then what f2p game isn't. I personally like the freedom of flying, you are not constantly running through mob spawns and dodging them to get somewhere.
and like the OP said it is veeeery veeeery slow moving in general idk i liked it slightly better than say half the other asian F2Ps but i didnt really like it all that much

I dislike Perfect World and Runes of Magic, I just can't stand the goofy and cheap artstyle, the clunky and boring gameplay and the shallow lore of both games.
There are better games in the FTP realm.

Yup, 100% agree. Perfect World is not so perfect. Yes it has lore, and it has a multitude of quests. But every single quest is or leads to a grind or kill this monster. The PvP is laughable at best as everyone over the level of 30 is automatically fair game.
RoM, samething. Its a grind game, although it has little lore to it. 1 race, 6 generic classes of which you can dual class ala FFXI. Both games suffer from a go kill x amount of monster or fedex type quests.
What are some good ones then? Please list names and why you think so

Warrior Epic is a good F2P oh and one of the best parts about it is THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO kill x type amount of monster quests.
Runescape, Free Realms, soon Darkfall.
EDIT: Darkfall being "better" is debatable.
Free Realms is really good as ftp
Also I liked Atlantica Online
Glad to know I am not the only one that felt Perfect World was kinda slow and clunky feeling. Just not a good game at all.

In my opinion Requiem is more interesting than PW and ROM.
You may disagree but Requiem lore is a bit more original, class system is not bad and beast possession is an interesting feature ...dungeons are also good for a FTP game.
But Requiem is not the only one, in my opinion Atlantica (especially Atlantica) , Rohan, R2 Reign of Revolution, SUN and even ShunXian (from the same company behind PW) are far better games.
Not exacly FTP, but Guild Wars is, in my opinion, the best game that does not require a monthly fee.
edit- I forgot about Free Realms...

You might enjoy Runescape or Free Realms but in my opinion both of those games are probably the worst F2Ps ive ever played, like I think id prefer an asian grindfest to Runescape. I didnt play Free Realms very long but the beginning was boring enough to push me away.
Free Realms is the best out by far. All the rest of them are no better than anything else out there. If I had to choose one though it would be Rappelz.
Like all free 2 play games, the game play is lackluster in every way. Generic combat and a borken game balance due to the item mall. What do you expect really? By now everyone should have a general idea of what a F2P grinder is all about.

Don't want to come accross as troling this game, or try to put off anybody who wants to have a go. Just agree with the op. Really wanted to get into this game. Just found it very uninspiring and for want of a more flowery description very boring. I know there are lots of people out there who love it and thats all cool. Personly I just couldn't get into it.
I didn't really like Perfect World either. I wonder if Jade Dynasty will share the same problems. Hopefully not but it is the same engine and developer.

You guys are echoing my experience with it, too. Pretty but not all that entertaining.

I played PW and enjoyed it for the first 20 levels. When I no longer enjoyed it I stopped playing. It did not cost me one cent and provided many hours of fun. That is all I expect from any ftp game.
I joined the beta for Jade Empire and hope that it will entertain me for a few weeks as well.
For me it was "ok" up till the 20s but after that it went all down hill very hard and very fast. It is just so slow and clunky feeling and there is no real group content at all. Unless you consider having higher level people hold your hand and do your dungeons for you to be group content :P
