European Player specifically English which server? Worth playing? population?

Hey, love D&D and would love to play this but haven't really got stuck in just curious what the population is like? Is it a dying game as don't want to invest lots of money only to lose it all when it shuts? And whats a good popular class for people to group with?
Any advice appreciated thanks alot

350 people (or less) online at peakhour on the EU servers, i suggest you look abroad (U.S servers) and besides the EU servers will not be f2p (any news of this happening hasn´t been released)
Give the trial a go, then you can't lose.
As for server, they are quite well balanced so you won't go wrong choosing either.
