Just wondering since my wife and I enjoyed this game alot back in the day, and well are in a MMO downer atm, should we return. Are there enough people around to group up with?? Can we duo alot of the content?? We just don t feel like starting it up only to in a week or 2 just want to give up. I know theres alot of content but do some of you that may have returned enjoy the game even remotely enjoy it to what it once was. If so what server(not darktide) should we choose. My wife played it alot more then I did( I was playing DAOC in it s prime). We just want a quest orientated game to mess with for the time being.

Thanks in advance.

Well luckily one of your concerns can be met with the 14 day free trial, which gives full access to every part of the game you just can't buy a house while on a trial.

The vast majority of the quests in the game can be done solo or duo, which is perfect for you. However there are a few group quests, these quests are fairly popular and get run on a regular basis because of their rewards. There is also a group quest that is open to anyone who happens along so that one is constantly getting set off for the server to get rewards.

If you join one of the bigger servers you would have no problem finding an allegiance and groups, I would suggest joining an allegiance if your goal is to get up to the level everyone else is at to group with. A good allegiance could set you on the path to reaching level 150 (where the best loot starts) fairly quickly. Frostfell is the largest pop server, I believe Harvestgain is close behind. Thistledown, Solclaim and Leafcull all have decent size pops too.

I would suggest the two of you starting up trials, getting used to the game again and seeing how you feel. If you do get into it you will have a lot of content to work your way through before getting bored and it will last you months at least.

Hope to see you come back. Oh and the best site for information on quests, loot etc is asheron.info right now.
