MSI GT275 or Sager NP5797

Hey guys. Getting a new laptop in the next month or so and am deciding between the MSI GT725 ( www.xoticpc.com/msi-gt725-212-p-2554.html )  or the Sager NP5797 ( www.xoticpc.com/sager-np5797-custom-sager-notebook-built-clevo-m570etu-p-2540.html )

The build I came up with for the MSI comes to $1800 and for the Sager it's $2400.  I'm buying it mainly for heavy gaming (Prototype, GTA IV, Crysis + Crysis Warhead, CoD4 + CoD: WaW, AoC).

Any ideas on which one I should get?

The Sager model has the better specs.  Just remember that its a mobile device and the specs on it will not match the same parts in a Desktop.

But is the cost of a $600 desktop worth the extra performance of the Sager over the MSI :) If money isn't an issue then get the Sager though.

On second glance, the MSI model has some nice perks.   It has a much longer batter life, its cheaper, it has 4GB Memory base instead of 2GB, Quad core base, its from a hardware manufacturer, and its screen is Matte instead of Glossy.

I think you should choose your laptop based on what you are going to play.  Both laptops should be able to play all the games you listed well at 1900x1200 resolution except 3.  Crysis, AoC, and GTA IV.  Crysis is optimized for nVidia hardware which makes the Sager model more ideal.  Neither of the laptops can play the game at that resolution with max graphics.  AoC favors ATI hardware and its an mmo which draws a bit more system memory which makes the MSI model more ideal.  GTA IV is optimized for Quad Core processors which makes the MSI more ideal.

Thanks for the help. Seems like I'm probably going with the MSI.
