Looks like its going to be a fantastic addition to the RoM game. I am certainly looking forward to it !!
If ya can't stand the heat , drink a cold one
I agree. I am looking forward to this as well. This is, IMHO, the best F2P game out there right now, and it's better than most P2P ones as well.
I've only been playing it a few months, but am glad I stumbled upon it. I was burnt out from WOW and just couldn't find another game that I could get into whether free or paid sub.
/cheers
Sexier than wow! amagad
How fun will it be once you learn that you have to drop large sums of cash in the cash shop to be competetive?
Waiting for:EQ-Next, ArcheAge (not so much anymore)
Now Playing: N/A
Worst MMO: FFXIV
Favorite MMO: FFXI
With all due respect, not everyone cares if we are competitive. I just like a good fun adventure with other peeps in which I can relax after a hard days work. In the three months playing I have not spent a cent. Besides, the auction house allows the selling of diamonds(the cash shop's currency) with gold earned in game via questing etc... So if one is savvy they can sell stuff and make good gold and buy diamonds to get what they want.
The one thing that is broken, IMHO, is the PvP. Since it's free for all after hitting level 15, it is a serious gankfest. Thus I'm on one of the PvE servers. So gear will be an issue on the one PvP server they have. Otherwise, it's not an issue.
I still liked WOW a lot better, but since I have moved on (read: burnt out) this is good to do something different.
I still prefer the NO ELVES from Hi-Rez Studios
But still yea looks like a nice addition to RoM

edit: as mentioned by the above poster.
There is NO miracle patch.
95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.
Hope is not a stategy.

Awesome, 2 extra class that can feel useless & unwanted next to overpowered Mages.
It's not Mages themselves that need the most fixing though, it is the entire games total bias towards magic damage & descrimination against melee classes.
Bosses that destroy anything that is not secondary classed as Knight if it gets in melee range, the bulk of all PvE mobs are melee based so they are easy to kill for magic classes & much harder for melee.
There are currently only 3 usefully working primary classes in this game Knight, Priest & Mage, anything else is simply not desired or asked for in high end groups.
Everywhere you look, the huge majority of the playerbase is Mage/something, usually Priest.
Runewaker needs to fix the huge disparities before adding in two more classes for people to feel useless as.
And that's before I get into the constant nerfing of upgrade jewels, increasing durability losses & nerfing what is currently the weakest class, Scouts even more whilst not even touching the most powerful & unbalanced, Mages, & the useless customer service & horrible lag spikes. Keep Squeezing, Frogster, maybe there really is more blood in the stone.
