I'd have to guess the flamers are people that don't like blizzard games. Or the elitest scumbag no-lifers from eq1 - In any case, I don't want those people in my games anyway.
WoW is so awesome - I can't make any time for Half Life 2. I installed it, played it a lil then EQ2 came out. Bought it, became red in the face that sony could even screw me out of my $50, cancelled subscription immediately - played half life 2 somemore - WoW came out - Never touched half life 2 again 
biggest thing that sucked was being handed the clan/guild cause the leader went to play with friends on another server - I already invited all my RL friends in so I'ma stick with it for a while.

Other then that, I loved to hear how much you love WoW. I like it too.
I think I have played every and all games that ever came out from Blizzard. So why stop now?!
Im one of those who played the 15 levels of Diablo 1 some 20-30 times with my first char. So im a bit of a fanboy.
What has been said before is that WoW is a more relaxed game. Its not as important to be logged of for 5-8 hours every day to be able to play with your hardcore friends.
This suits me well right now, cause I have alot of things to do at school. WoW rocks, and I have preordered it. (Well even if it rocks, I might stop playing after 1-2 months, like i did with FFXI

How do you cancel? I went to station.com and there was no cancel option for my account. I was rather upset. I tried the game, it was ok, but now I play WoW. Any information on where to go? Seriously, "my account" at station.com has no cancel option. It says I have an account, but no subscription. I think it won't activate until they charge me for the first month, which is kinda low of them.

Hey peeps I wanna ask (even though its off topic, but its not worth starting a new topic) what is the time zone difference from the WoW servers to the UK. I would like to know because at Euro release im still not sure wether i should start a char on the US servers or not, so depending on the time difference will effect my decision.
Ok so its 3:30pm where I am now, so what is the time for the WoW servers? If someone could tell me I would be grateful.

You've got a 5 hours head on EST (Eastern Standard Time) ... which means an 8 hours head on Blizzard's Headquarters which are PST (Pacific Standard Time)
out of curiousity .. how would that affect your decision anyway?

WoW servers are based in Florida. I remember that because they got hit by a hurricane not that long ago.
Hey. I don't think that you could play on the US sercers if you wonted. I'm pretty sure that you need a kredit card with a US address to creat a account.
Sorry but i think we Europens have to wait until our time comes....
Oh because some of my friends are in the US, and they normally play about 7pm - 12am (about this, maybe later or earlier), but from what your saying I realsied I wont be able to play with them that much. Because for me that would be about 3am - 8am, which is too earlier in the morning for me.:(

P.s Forrest 789 by the way when the Euro retail is released I can play on any server I would like, US or Euro. And so can you...
The servers are in Virginia and they were hit by a Tornado not a Hurricane .. It doesn't Matter where the servers are anyway, They have servers recommended for each Time Zone to spread the population out evenly.
That's why I mentioned the HeadQuarters timezone instead .. since it is the time that they usually revert to when posting time based annoucements.

Yes, blizzard is the best. Nothing beats a brand new blizzard game, diablo 1&2 love you so
Wacraft 2&3 there i go melee :P Like Weee, they bloody rock :P

Just so you know the continental 48 United States have 4 time zones, Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific. For example if it is 12:00 AM in New York (Eastern) it will be 11:00 PM in Chicago (Central) and 10:00 PM in Denver (Mountain) Los Angeles will be 9:00 PM (Pacific).
Right now I'm in -5 GMT, but I believe it goes down to -4 GMT during the summer...
