I really like how it as is. More fun to rely on player skill to heal than to rely on mindless treadmill gear.
Agree. I do like the ability to be able to alter your class more towards DPS or utility or healing in some way, but no thanks to incredibly gear reliant MMO's. I like the system they have.
Could someone just once read the whole thread....sigh... The game IS very gear reliant, in PVP a healer with better gear will be harder to kill, you still wont find groups willing to take just any healer, and you will still need to gear up. Its been said over and over again. I want more controll over how my chars stats go up, its not about making him better than another healer, just to make him a little more suited to my playt style.
No you are because it has been posted how many times that it IS a gear treadmill, do you read any post cept your own garbage. My whole argument comes down to lack of options. You don't know a thing about the game, haven't played it, obviously haven't read up on it yet you continue posting remarks. Are you that bored ?
As to your previous post, enchanting your gear diffrently and changing you tallents and glyphs is DIFFERENTIATING you utter twit, and thats only the pvp side of it, pve is even more diverse.
Honestly does your mom still dress you in the morning before you go to school ?
Its cute how the guy who can't spell more than 4 words in a row correctly is now trying to flame. You contradicted yourself, get over it. Glyphing, gemming, and enchanting are also all identical. There is a most effective way to do everything in WoW. Sure some idiot will gem differently to feel special, but al the top players have the same enchants and the same gems per class.
Once again, people like you ruin every new game that tries to release because you moan and complain about every little detail that isn't a carbon copy from WoW. Just play WoW if you love it so much.
Ye im typing on a smartphone and im at work, so tough about my spelling ^^ If you dont like it please please read another thread and move to another troll bridge.
I don't think you undestand this thread at all, im not going to respond to your posts anymore cause to be honest I can't explain my point much better, and you can't explain yours period most probably because you don't have one. The facts are the following:
You aren't a beta tester
You play WoW yourself
You don't undestand what im debating, you just keep going around in circles and im not following anymore.
You have never played Aion, not even in a limited capacity
You are obviously pretty bad at WoW or you wouldnt be slagging it off so much
You ignore posts by players that play korean retail who have done the trouble to post on this tread with real long term experience
You accuse me of being inflexible even while this whole thread is a debate about what scalling system offers best balance vs customization and I have conceded to other posters on more than one point while you keep hammering on the same points, all of wich have been awnsered by people with far more experience in this game than either of us.
You are the very definition of a troll, a no lifer who picks a side right or wrong and tries to turn a debate into a war, while having no insite in the matter what so ever.
Sorry Mr. Troll im done feeding you, find a new brige.
Its almost annoying how dumb you are, truly aggravating in a sense. Plus you keep going on about how I never played Aion, not sure where you got that from. Just kinda pulled it out of your ass like everything else you've said so far.
Also I wasn't amazing at WoW, I no longer play it, but I did spend plenty of time farming 2100 teams. One day you might learn how to become a gladiator yourself. You're probably some joke 2v2 comp anyway
And for a third time, all you can do is compare Aion to WoW, just go play WoW.
The upcomming expansion....in korea "love the fact we are beta testing and they are working on a expanion already" will improve the stigma system by adding more slots and a lot more options too it. Does anyone have any kind of info of the new Stigma's, also are set bonuses going to be included in the new items ?
Again im not a noob ^^ I checked with retail players on the Chinese and Korean servers, it doesnt change EVER, if it did I wouldnt mind, have no problem with lack at scalling at the start, problem is it doesn't even scale at endgame. To be completely honest with you, I tought it was a bug in the begining, so did my guild, there where 22 of us playing out of the same WoW guild Nightsong - Spinebreaker EU, im the GM and tought it would be a fun activity for the guild for the weekend, so I hooked everyone up with some beta keys. I don't think the game is bad, I really don't. I just think that the scalling isue with healing is a big flaw as it nerfs the already limited customization even further, only other big gripe I had was with Gameguard not working properly on some of my guildies systems and swimming, i mean FFS how can you not swim :P Not sure why you think id make a post without a little fact checking first ?
Yeah, about that. I checked with retail players on the Chinese and Korean servers, and they say you're wrong.
1. More aoe healing spells and improved threat reducing abilities
2. Improved offensive spells/quick recovery heals
These will improve your healing and not everyone will be able to get them :P
Also there are +MP stones and while they dont improve your healing it is hard to heal without mana :P
I guess that will come down to the player, will he go +mp stones or +defense +magic res etc etc.
If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"
I've only read the first page because people tend to go off topic and it always becomes a WoW comparison on these forums for some reason but I'd still like to share my opinion.
I like the idea of standarized heals because lets face it, in pvp, dps classes whine vs healers and tank/no burst damage classes have a real loooong battle vs very strong healers in most MMORPG's where it just turns into OOM wars. Sure this isnt a 1v1 game but even in 10v10, I'd rather have 3-5 healers that can also act as pvp tanks or suppport damage when possible rather than 1-2 super strong un-killable healers and the rest are just dps. It's more fun for the healers I'd imagine for the healers too as they wouldnt just be running around avoiding getting hit and healing people. No stat to increase healing power to crazy amounts also lets the the healer focus on other stats for more dps or survivability.
Sure those people that love to be dedicated healers arn't too happy about it but IMHO I think it makes for a more interesting healer play-style for not just the healer but for everyone.
