I'm hoping from reading alot of the threads some of the latency & connection issues have resolved a tad, at least for me my first day went about smoothly. I read the earlier review and have more general questions about long-term play
My question to everyone is: Is this game worth playing for posterity? A good side-bar to a PPM or something to get a small group of friends to have fun with? and a random one, does the game have random drops or is it all just experience?
I played the tutorial and the style of the game as a dungeon crawl is very interesting, but with plenty of good action-rpgs around is it worth it to recommend to anyone?
Give me any thoughts good & bad, and try (even if jaded) to be unbiased if possible Thanks to anyone for a reply, most appreciated in advance.

To be blunt all the bugs and broken game mecanics killed it for me , it should of stayed in beta the concept of the game was quite nice but that just wasnt enough .
tbh there way too many games out there to just be stuborn and stick with this one with the things not working .
I'm enjoying it. The dev team is pretty involved, and although there's a latency issue with combat currently it's been identified to be fixed next patch. The game play is sorta a controlled zerg feel, and they really nailed the dungeon crawl feel. It's not cookie- cutter, with an interesting mechanic involving spirits and the leveling of your Warrior Hall. It's rough, still, but the quick patches smoothed things well enough to make it worth your while, imo.
Decent game... NOT a great game.
The instanced games from 1 to 5 players to play a specific level is interesting at first.
One downside however, By design if you die 3 times you get NO experience at all... this killed the gameplay for me... Why play 30 to 50 minutes in a mission to get NO freaking experience makes absolutely NO sense to me at all.
Not fun when the game lags and you die... then when you respawn your Health is NOT maximized.
Unless they have made some major adjustments, there are levels that won't let you finish them because the exit won't show up. Yet more experience and time wasted.
Occasionally the game will toss you out for no apparent reason on launch of the mission by the room host.
Game deleted.
>:(
They've fixed the dropped bug, so people are getting into the games without issue. The maps are randomly generated, so on occasion a passage will be blocked, but its happened to me once, up through level 17. The lack of experience from death on a map is troublesome at first, but then you realize it's akin to a death penalty, and you learn fast not to die.
Meh, they need to fix the exp on their maps. Most people generally farm the same couple of maps for exp since most of the others give crappy exp. Also class balance is quite the issue as assassin do insane dps. Lastly, mobs are too easy, on my assassin I'm often soloing groups of lvl 40+ mobs with ease.

And breathed in the face of the foe as he passed:
And the eyes of the sleepers waxed deadly and chill,
And their hearts but once heaved, and for ever grew still!"

I'm enjoying it so far. Good group of people playing over there.

Hmmm seems I'll focus on other F2Ps and betas, let this game get some more solid patch time.
