I laughed my ass off. You think you've seen the funniest stuff in the trailers? You haven't.
I"m not posting any spoilers. I will say that you watch the movie and there are dead spots. You're thinking well, this isn't really that funny. But it's all a set up for the next gag that will have you laughing out loud.
It's not for the squeamish or the prudes. It's very rude, crude, and borders on porn at times, but the whole audience was cracking up because it's just plain funny.

my favourate bit was Bruno interviewing a terrorist cell leader in the west bank and getting thrown out of the middle east as a result.
My second favourate bit was the sex video Bruno made with ex presidential candidate Ron Paul
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981
Would you guys say it was as funny, or funnier than Borat? I remember Borat had a few dead scenes too, but quite a few hilarious ones.
This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.
What kind of humor is it? I recently watched Borat and found it to be boring except for two or three times. Is it the same "lol, poop"-humor?
I still think Ali G is better than the other two, just find 'his' humour really funny.
?
I found Bruno slightly less funny than the previouse film. It still had its moments tho.

I thought it was hillarious,
except there were these really daft people behind me that didn't get anything, they just thought everything was gross, which it isn't unless you are extremely sheltered. It actually added another level of humor as their reactions to everything were so rediculous.
Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit
That is SUCH a samantha thing to say!
My build: Sapphire Radeon HD 4850, Asus P5GC-MX/1333 Motherboard, 4gb G.SKILL DDR2 667MHz RAM, Core 2 Duo e7200 CPU, 250gb Western Digital SATA Harddrive, Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit.
I see what you did there. You get a big +1 for making me smile! People don't often achieve that through forum comments.
Bruno was awesome. Still it had its moments when i asid to my self this is too much .. haha still i found it hilarious. I dont recommend anyone watching this with their parents or if you are homophobic
If you watch The Karate Kid backwards it's about this karate champ that just kinda slowly becomes a pussy and ends up moving back to Jersey
I'm looking at the reviews at Yahoo, and they are hilarious all on their own. Apparently this movie isn't for gay people, or rather the kind of people who claim they are so that they can go on a crusade about how something offends gays. I kid you not, take a look at the content of all the D and F reviews. Yahoo even had an article up saying it offends gays... BS. It offends the sympathy brigade.
I'm sure its a good movie, I would probably enjoy 90% like with Borat. I will wait for the DvD though because I would like the ability to skip certain scenes : )

I thought this movie was terrible.
But I don't laugh at "shock-value funnies" and tricks so much. Also, I have grown out of of toilet humor. There was maybe only a couple times I laughed during the movie. The movie made me feel sad in the sense that some people really enjoyed it. I think that really says something about society.
I have a friend that rents all the made-for-video national lampoon films. I could never do that.
That is SUCH a samantha thing to say!
Also as many people have said (maybe not here) the previews gave away too much and it didn't make me laugh after hearing the Samantha line.
LOL I was laughing my ass off almost the entire movie. I was constantly wiping the tears out of my eyes. Auditions in that one part were unbelievable though, that was messed up.
Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

as I watching that I couldn't help think about how out of context it probably was. how much was the producers offering people to agree to those auditions? heck I would agree to things Bruno said if he was paying me $10,000 for one photo shoot. If any harm was possible in the first place I would have already been pretty certain that it was just a joke or something... all the cut out footage would make the movie less funny if it had been shown (obviously), but the whole time I was watching the movie I was totally aware of things like Bruno probably offering a lot of money for people to agree to those auditions.
furthermore, the fact that the camera man had to be around every scene made me wonder if the people signed waivers before hand and how much they knew about where the film was going to show up. even if they didn't sign the waiver before hand, I would think they would have some inkling of all that is being filmed for jest and not for real - I mean Bruno was a living cartoon character.
and any joke about penises, asses, cum, sex and vaginas is what I call toilet humor even if it's not poop jokes.
