Heard a lot of good things about the game, but somehow was under impression, that it was sci-fi (I seem to have rocks in my head... Or was thinking of Anarchy). Decided to download the free trial, just to see it for myself. Are people still active in there?

I hate WoW because it made my plush hamster kill himself, created twin clones of Hitler, punched Superboy Prime in reality, stared my dog down, spoiled my grandmother, assimilated me into the Borg, then made me into a real boy, just to make me a woman again.

Yes lots of active people and the main forums are nice and active as well.

If you don't want to PvP constantly then Frostfell is the server to go for, if you do want to PvP all the time then Darktide is your only choice but it has a good sized population.

    Hope you have fun.

it's a great game, but it is a hardcore gamers game.   if you only have casual time to play, try something else.

If you don't mind the old graphics. AC is indeed a great game.

I would guess if you have played it was only during the initial year or two. As the game got older there were gradually changes to make it easier as well. It is not nearly as hardcore as it once was. It will still take you longer to reach max level then almost any other game out there, but the leveling is not as tough as it used to be.

However you do still need to learn the game, unlike other games this one does have many variations affecting weapons and tons of spells. So to maximize your abilities you need to understand all of the differences and what works best where.
