Just found out about this today, read a review or two and it sounds really cool.

Now am I to assume that they have developed ONLY Frensh and German? No English? seriously what is up with that?

a bummer if they don't release an English version.

    Ahh there is english.  The dialogue and menus and everything.  Feels like a straight up American game honestly.

    I have found this little pressrelease:

     

    "Monte Cristo is very happy to announce that Cities XL, the next generation city builder, will be released on September 3rd 2009 on PC DVD in the following countries: France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Austria, in French and German languages.

    A release is planned for other countries, we will announce a precise date as soon as possible."

    Indeed there is an english version.

    I'm in CB.

    I like it.    I'm fairly sure thats all I can say with an NDA in effect.

    Ok it is in english and im not telling you how i know, and it is like playing sim city but you cant destroy the city, it is good if your into this but you cant visit other player citys or even meet other players.

    You can visit other players cities. You can even walk around.

    Hey guys,

     

    Glad to meet you all. I'm quite a huge MMO fan but didn't know this website until I heard of it on citiesxl.com. I have won my Beta key here and I must say that I'm having quite a lot of fun with this game. Guess I can"t say too much but it's quite refreshing. I wouldn"t replace WOW by this one but I might buy an online account to play it from time to time :)

    I don't know what you guys think of it?
