Could you please define "old school" games as in what type of date they came out in? I have a few in mind you could add, but I'm struggling on if you would consider them old school. Thanks in advance.

I'm taking all suggestions to help our MMORPG.com'ers find a game they like on this list

He was asking what YOU consider to be an old school game so he'd know what games to recommend, such as years made, etc.
Although with Mythos having been on there, I'm assuming you don't particularly care about the age of the game, just the style?
Here's another old school 3D F2P game: Magic of the Gods. It's at www.magicofthegods.com.
Games played:
Runescape -------------- www.runescape.com Magic of the Gods ------ www.magicofthegods.com Saga of Ryzom ---------- www.ryzom.com World of Warcraft ------- www.worldofwarcraft.com
Well of Souls - 2D very old school MMO. Was fun for a long time for me though, not sure if it still has a player base, but I remember people actually took the time to create their own worlds/chars/avatars/classes/pretty much everything they wanted. The original map is pretty cool too, go to the site and you'll know what I'm talkin about.
www.uogamers.com all the wonders of the old uo, and its free to play.
Also thanks for the list. It is a very helpful thing and im sure a bunch of other people are thankful for it too. Don't know what possessed you to make it but happy you did.

It's FF2P, 2D (of course) and rather cute. Set in space, you control a robotic gardener. I know it doesn't sound exciting - I just really like the game for the casual mini-games really. When I feel "casual", i log in, paly a couple mini-games, get my little break, and still get to leveled my character.

Mythos is no more, so you might wanna remove it.
Seriously? and i was so excited for that too...btw where do you get that "Metallica Fan, KISS Fan," banner on your sig?
"The definition of over doesn't have to be, "The End"

Eclipse 2 FTW!!!
You should add http://lysle.net/cnd to the list. :-)
Play as your fav retro characters: cnd-online.net. My site: www.lysle.net. Blog: creatingaworld.blogspot.com.
www.chosenspace.com
www.csgalaxies.com
www.galacticfleets.com
They are all Browser-based Space Trading/Mining/Combat MMO's
They are all run by the same guy and the community usually play a couple of these games at the same time.
There is a grouped forum: http://forum.pbbghub.com
Land Of Magic, old school f2p.
zero online is F2P

You forgot www.akarrianepansion.com free to play, nintendo-like graphics. Amazing system for such old school graphics.
www.TitansofTime.com is 2D.
It mixed Old School Zelda Elements with modern day MMORPG. There is a lot more to this game than what you may see at first on the surface.
Oh, I see Dofus is there, the first MMO I ever played (and am still playing).
Maybe you could add GalaXseeds: http://www.thebigrip.com/Galaxseeds/index.aspx

In any case, very good list there, thanks a lot!
