Not remotely close to a vegetarian by any means, humans are supposed to eat some proteins.   But I don't eat nearly as much meat as the normal person.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

Tbh due to the state of huge rise in population, we have seen all these horrific ways they farm animals to produce meat faster.

So yea, I don't blame vegetarians for being vegetarians.

We're all Geniuses. Most of us just don't know it.

I used to be a full-fledged vegetarian, but it became rather expensive so I reverted to an omnivore.

The health benefits are great - just get protein from alternate sources like soy and nuts.

If you don't lock them chickens up, they will take over.

    Vegetarians are very breakable.

Well then I guess I've tenderized a number of hogs in my time.  If any of you have ever tried to make hogs go up a loading shute they don't want to go up you might understand why.  I also once bent a 3/4 inch thick iron bar over the head of a 700 pound boar when he was being stubborn but that was more out of revenge because the bastard had tried to kill me a month or two before that.

I've thought about becoming a vegetarian for health reasons and because I've seen some of the sick ways these animals are treated, but I just love me a good hotdog or cheeseburger.

So now I try and do research on how the animals I buy have been slaughtered.

I love steak, can't live without it. In fact going to a brazlian steak house tonight which is just a steak buffet of the best steaks and they even bring it to you. They also have a awesome salad bar but for what you pay its best to skip its mostly.

Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.

I voted "In between" because I have meatless meals several times a week. And my cholesterol level suggests that perhaps I should maybe have a few more of those... But I love a nice rare steak so freakin' much. I feel bad for the way the animals are raised, but not quite bad enough to stop eating them.

My son used to be a vegetarian for reasons other than the ethical ones. He liked to tell people he wasn't a vegetarian because he liked animals but because he hated plants.

Well I can understand the moral reasons of some, the people who try to make vegan diets out to be a healthier life style are way off. It reduces the risk of quiet a few things such as cancer, but other things such as weaker immune systems bring them down. The idea that vegans can live 5-15 years longer then a equivilant omnivore is propaganda by the anti-meat crowd.

I came across these short videos when watching "Fast Food Nation."

Basically eating meat is fine, just avoid Fast Food franchises and buy meat from ranchers with open ranged animals.  Costs more, but hopefully you'll live longer.  And local Farmer Markets are a good place as well.

There is a reason why food on the $1 menu costs only $1...

    And that is why...

Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness.

And how exactly is that? I've never read anything regarding the immunity boosting powers of meats.

Here are some great immunity boosting foods:

    lemons

    blueberries

    tomatoes

    soy

    almonds

    walnuts

    oranges

    carrots

green and white tea (get the full leaf tea - like from Teavana)

    squash

    mushrooms

    sweet potatoes

    liquid zinc

I shot a rabbit this morning, in front of my sheep.

Funny to watch their reactions. Normally they don't pay any attention but this time they all went up and inspected it.

    What were they thinking....

Its just lack of protein, which has many other side-effects as well. Though vegetarians can get protein from other sources it is much harder and usually not satisfied in most vegetarians diets.

What do you consider to be guilty meat?
